January 6, 200422 yr He said he didn't care. He said you could take away all the fame and fortune, you could take away his zoo, everything. He said all that matters to him is his kids and family. :smug:
January 6, 200422 yr hey! he just wanted the kid to have an early start at living along side crocks! ;)
January 6, 200422 yr hey! he just wanted the kid to have an early start at living along side crocks! ;)
January 6, 200422 yr Yah, I don't think it was that big of a deal...we all know he is crocodile crazy! :D A little danderous and risky, but that is the way he is on his shows. What does crikey mean anyways? And do they use that word in australia?
January 6, 200422 yr i thought it might somehow refer to the game, cricket. but i open the thread and see what it's about... :D
January 6, 200422 yr i tihnk thats idiotic. even if you have control over the thing like your god.
January 6, 200422 yr i think the 'care' for kids etc. is just getting way too much in the U.S., as if people don't have much else to worry about... more people should listen to George Carlin's comical, funny, witty, and totally politically INCORRECT commentaries on the state of american society!  I just heard a snippet on Yahoo Launchcast...
January 6, 200422 yr   we've all become such a soft society, we can't even handle a lil adventure! :D
January 6, 200422 yr Author i actually thought the whole stunt was more funny than anything else. here is a new link about the story http://entertainment.msn.com/news/article.aspx?news=145269 it's almost kinda cute b/c he seems to love crocs so much that he wants his fam. to get into it too. it's just kinda scary when you think about it. i'm sure he didn't really think his kid would get injured.
January 6, 200422 yr What does crikey mean anyways? And do they use that word in australia? Crikey means...I dunno. It's like saying "blimey". :/ And to answer your second question...*shudders* No.
January 6, 200422 yr Author   (sorry for laughing) do australians sound like nicole kidman? :D
January 6, 200422 yr  :D ...I guess so? Well, some do sound like Steve Irwin. Not that bad, just..really strong accents. But they live in the "outback" regions of Australia. People that live on the coastline (like me :) ) would sound more like Nicole. Unless you were a dude, then you'd sound like...a guy version. lol I have no idea where I'm going with this! :P
January 6, 200422 yr Author aahhh.. cool i actually like steve irwin's accent! he's so vibrant. and i like nicole's accent too! she was on jay leno today! she's so cute!
January 6, 200422 yr I realise what he did was stupid... he's been dealing with croc's for so long that he pretty much thinks he and his family are invinsible. Which, I might add, is probably what the smart crocs at the zoo have been waiting for... I'm sure they've grown tired of eating dead chickens. However I do feel sorry for the guy... he honestly thought people would be excited by what he did... not put off. It may have been done for publicity but at least his publicity is for a good cause... conservation (unlike Mr Jackson). He's very embarrassed by the unexpected reaction he has been given and I think it's very unfair to place him in the same category as Michael Jackson. I do not agree he should be charged and I do not think he is an unfit or unloving father. I agree with him in that if his kids are going to grow up around dangerous critters as he was they need to be taught how to handle them from an early age. I just hope he no longer teaches his kids how to handle these critters publicly as it could lead to copy cat acts by some much less experianced followers.
January 6, 200422 yr yah I don't think he should be charged...he was just acting like he usually does...I don't think he meant any harm Crikey!!!
