Yes ! I'll complete the answer because i am glad that at least the song was guessed now: It was Sparks at the Big Day Out Festival 2001 in Australia. Your turn :)

Oh no! Sorry I stalled the thread!! Anyone want to take my place? I have no ideas.

"This is not a tambourine song. I don't mean to be rude. Let me be honest with you. We tried tambourine on the recording and we had to scrap it."

Ah, I have heard this one before, I think someone in the audience was playing tambourine ! But I cannot remember which song and occasion :D

Yes, indeed.

The venue of the concert was not mentioned.

Hint: The song was released on AROBTTH and is well known.

I know this one.

The Scientist! It was a special performance for a foundation. The venue was the same church where Coldplay did a show for radio 1 to celebrate the release of AHFOD

Exactly!

I know this one.

Thank you for the extra information.

I didn't know where it was filmed.

I simply love it because Chris seems to be annoyed of the tambourine an still tries to keep the person comfortable with the situation.

And the lines at the end are hilarious! :laugh4:

This is an easy one:

"Dreams come true for all young and old people alike"

Performance with Michael J Fox at the 2nd MetLife show on July 17 or performance with U2 in NYC, between Beautiful Day and With or without you ? Not sure

I was referring to the second performance you mentioned. It’s your turn!

Puh, that was close. I think i got it mixed up with the Twitter comment of the MJ Fox performance, which read "Dreams do come true" or something like that :)

The following should also be easy:

"Come on everybody, we're not starting this song yet ! Even in the back, even in the back, ooh yaaah ! Even in the back, ooh yaaah ! Even in the back and the front and the front and the back. Shoulders, knees and toes, shoulders knees and toes !"

Sorry didn't see it[emoji16]

"Dreams come true for all young and old people alike"

Can you take another quote, @alisbe asked just that one before...(from the SubstitU2 gig) :P

True. Someone is dreaming of Paradise and is no paying attention :p

Can you take another quote, @alisbe asked just that one before...(from the SubstitU2 gig) :P

Oh sorry guys, for some reason this thread never shows up for me in the new posts...

I'll come up with something else later :P

We Found Love (Rihanna Cover) at the BBC Radio Student Tour in 2011

(I wouldnt know it though if someone had not recently posted it in the Random thread ! :D)

Here is a new one, should also be easy:

"This is for Richard Ashcroft !"

  • 3 weeks later...

Coldplay at live8 playing "bitter sweet symphony"

I got one

"Please welcome the most beautiful woman on the planet probably. Accept my wife Ms....."
