Coldplay 42 Tone?

Featured Replies

So I've correctly tabbed out the guitar part for 42 and even have an all F tuned guitar (just like Jonny's) which I just received yesterday.

I know Jonny uses a Micro POG throughout all of his parts, and turns on some distortion during the later parts of the song.

However, one thing comes to mind. How does Jonny get that clean tone in his first riff? It sounds like it's not completely clean (except the Micro POG pedal). Perhaps the guitar signal is boosted? I don't know. I need your help, guys!

In return, here are the 100% correct all F tab for 42.

I was able to tab tbe song by watching live performances and by ear.
