random things you remember from your childhood

Featured Replies

well when i was in pre-school i remember when me and my twin sister walked in one day and we it was pajama day. but we didn't have pj's on we were wearing a purple shirt with a picture of jasmin from the film aladdin. i remeber we were really upset about it too.

another is at pre-school. mindy (twin) was on the slide and wouldn't go down. so i pushed her and instead of going down she fell of the side of the slide. good thing it was a small slide and they had mats under it. but she was still crying. :P

what about you guys?

your first one makes me feel old because when i was in pre-school the Aladdin movie was still years in the future. :P

anyway... there's lots of things i could put here but none of them are really amusing.

oh, i remember throwing sand in a kid's eye when i was in pre-school. he was trying to take my truck toy away from me. he had it coming.

    I didn't have a Childhood like that! :/

I remember playing this game in primary school with my friends where you flicked off your shoe to see who got it furthest. When I flicked mine it went too high and hit a teacher in the face. Man I was in trouble! :stunned:

The first memory I have is when I was 3 years old and I was in the hospital because of an eye surgery...

I remember it was dark (my eyes were covered) and I asked my mum to turn on the lights...

i remember something else.

when i was little i bumped my head on the corner of a drawer and it was bleeding a lot so my dad took me to the hospital in my pjamas, i bumped it right before i was going to sleep.

but i'm kind of confused. because i got stitches. i'm not sure if this is right maybe my memory is wrong but i remember my mom being there and right after i got my stitches i didn't remember getting them. i'm pretty sure it was my mom, maybe not but someone told me after i walked out of the room that i was kicking and screaming but i didn't remember it at all. i didn't even believe i got the stitches until i felt my head and looked in the mirror just to make sure.

Damn it! I've realized now that you're explaining funny things you made when you were a child, and I talked about a sad episode... :dozey:

I don't think it had to be funny, it's just the way it turned it out.

Are your eyes okay now?

i just happen to have funny random episodes in my childhood.

once i ran away from home. i walked around the block 3 times then went home because i forgot my coat and it was cold out :P

i have a ton.

omg i remember once when my mom went crazy. i swear i was crying

because i was so scared of her. all 4 of us kids ran to the park and watched her drive past looking for us. it was raining at the time.

I don't think it had to be funny, it's just the way it turned it out.

Well, I had to suffer another operation when I was 15. And I still have to wear glasses, but now my eyes are too much better than when I was a child...

That's good :)

I've never had an operation or broken any bones for that matter :stunned:

My bones are intact too... but I've had 4 operations. Yeeap, I'm a fake human being... :P

Well, I had my suspicions :sneaky:

You have the confirmation now. It's official :D

Indeed, I bet it'll be in tomorrows papers

"It's official: Coldplaying girl announces she's a fake human being!"

And you'll create a thread 'cause you're the coldplaying journalist!! :D

:o

Don't get scared, dear... I'm a high-quality fake human being :D

I remember that I was on vacation once in Iowa. I was playing around on the bed and I fell off. When I got up I smacked my head into the door (where the tv was) above me. I put my hand onto my head and it was bleeding like crazy. So we had to go home and my dad put stitches into my head on the kitchen table.

Good times.

And guess what? Today, I smacked my forhead on the corner of my nightstand while I was still semi-asleep. Yep. I am very coordinated.

:stunned:

I'm guessing your dad is a doctor!

When I was 12, I think, and living in an apartment complex me and a group of friends believed there was a ghost called "the mist" that would take over your body and make you do "bad things" and one day we thought it was in my house so CJ and me went up stairs to check things out and when we walked by my parents door the alarm clock went off and CJ screamed like a little girl, then we both jumped down the stairs and ran out of the house.

Me and Sarah (pixie...doesn't really post here that much) used to play homeless house... yes, homeless house. We'd get all kinds of stuff. Toy ovens, baby dolls, and we would even go up stairs to "work"... I don't know why we were homeless... just were.

:stunned:

Yes, although the story would be funnier if he weren't

That's what I was thinking :stunned:
