I think you can check that in the VLV stems (see here: https://www.coldplaying.com/forum/index.php?threads/coldplay-stems-multitracks.90873/ )

I checked them but i can only hear the keyboard(?) doing the riff. Or maybe its a guitar, but i think its a keyboard

The track indeed also contains keyboard, but you can hear guitar at 02:11, 03:01 and then very prominently from 03:06
