February 16, 200422 yr what? When you release a single!...the song that they are releasing into the charts is an A-Side (like In My Place..or Clocks!)...and then the other couple of songs on the cd are the b-sides...(like Animals..and I Bloom Blaum)

February 17, 200422 yr yes, the term originally came from vinyl records and how they had two different sides. when a single was released, the A-sides would be the hit songs that were on the radio and everything, and the B-sides were usually songs that were previously unreleased, and then, as now, were mostly just filler. :P
