you too.........

uh' date=' I was making a presentation one time at school in an engineering class and it was very formal. they asked us a question which I made simple with a very dumb answer, and I didn't realize how dumb it was until everyone in the class was laughing[/quote']

awwwwwww and what did you answered?:( I would have been embarrassed as well

you too.........

I'm Jo.......Josceline :)

nice to meet you Jo

so anything yet? :idea2:

well I was already nervous as poo so I was jumpy but... well first of all it was a presentation we had done a ton of research on through out the semester and I had done a very large portion of the work in our group so I wanted to answer most of the questions... also one of the people in our group who barely did anything kept trying to answer stuff ... and he was answering things wrong so I tried to answer before him... well... we designed something that required car batteries and someone asked how long we thought the batteries would last and I answered "well they're usually guaranteed for 5 years" :embarassed: it's not really funny, but everyone laughed because it was so formal and I answered with a really dumb answer... but I still think the overall presentation was really good because well... we had a great slide show..

er............ I also had something happen that was even more embarassing in my logics class recently... I answered again with a really dumb answer to something because I was on the wrong page, but I didn't realize where I was until they had moved on to the next question. Anyway, I gave a REALLY dumb answer to something and then the teacher asked me something which I didn't realize was related to the problem because I was on the wrong page. She said "Eric, what if I asked you, 'Eric, your grades are getting a lot better, have you stopped using drugs?'" and everyone started laughing, then I just sat there dumbfounded because I had no idea what she was talking about because I was on the wrong problem... so after a few moments people were laughing again because I was just going "uh... uh" ................ then she explained :embarassed:

:P it probably doesn't sound funny, but it was at the moment and it was very embarassing

5 yrs? :stunned:

awww that sounds cute :D embarrassing yes but cute

Yeah this was kinda inspired by Reilly's thread of "Bleeding" which happens to be inspired by another thread "Crying" :laugh3:

Hahahahaha! Funny :P

This thread has just been made a little while ago. My response, I recall was:

"No, never. Me forever."

Kylie back in studio

by BAZ BAMIGBOYE, Daily Mail 08:50am 28th April 2006

Kylie Minogue told me she's back in the recording studio, working on a new album, for the first time since she was diagnosed with cancer.

The 37-year-old singer said she was feeling "good" and taking "baby steps" back into work.

She turned up at the opening of Elton John's Lestat musical with Lulu and Scott Hoffman of Scissor Sisters.

"I'm working with a few people, just kicking some ideas around. It's fun to be working again and sitting down and making music.

"I'm taking it slowly. You know, baby steps. We're taking one baby step at a time.

"It's early days and I'm not sure what shape things are going to take yet. Really, what we're doing is messing around in the studio with different people and seeing what comes up.

"I don't know yet what songs I'm going to sing, or how I'm going to sing them, or what they're going to be about.'

It is the first time the singer has properly returned to work after being diagnosed with breast cancer in May last year.

After a partial mastectomy and months of chemotherapy and radiotherapy, doctors pronounced her cancer free at the start of the year.

Her hair, which had fallen out because of the chemotherapy, started growing back and earlier this month she unveiled a new elfin-style haircut.

She cut a stylish figure at the opening, adorned with gems from Bulgari's new Parentesi collection.

Along with working on the new album, Kylie's also pencilled in some gigs for the end of the year in Australia and she's said to be in talks to headline at next summer's Glastonbury festival. She was meant to top the bill at last year's event, but was forced to pull out when she fell ill.

There's never enough time

to really enjoy life... or at least it seems to be that way to me..

I was watching 'Brokeback Mountain' last week-end and when the movie finished; I thought that it was a good movie but it left me with the feeling that there's never really enough time, specially when life brings one thing after another and another and another, with so many problems, with things you have to work out, with things you have to do to move on, with decisions you have to make to be where you want to be and with things you have to get done.... There's 12 months in a year and it's May already with one more week to go 'till June. Have you enjoyed it yet?

For me..

Jan - Was sad

Feb - Very surprising month with hapiness

March - Not so good

April - Was good

May - Very stressful

Time never really stops and time doesn't really exist when you don't count it, but in our world time is everything and for that I hope that I always have time..

I just try not to keep track of time. I don't like to look to far ahead or sulk on time I wasted. You can't make the past come back, you can only learn from it.

Time doesn't seem to be going fast, but when I look back I realize I have only one more year of highschool, and it feels like I just started. I don't want it to end

yeah but you kinda have to though.. if you work, if you have an appointment for something important, if you have classes, if you have to be somewhere.. and blablabla and so on and so on.

Like right now, I have to get ready, because I have a concert to go to! :nice: :D

mmm...poor you?

who are you seeing?

btw, I've noticed the amount of time we spend waiting for certain events, traveling to get to them, getting ready, making lines. It's annoying

I only have a month of high school left....:stunned: scary:stunned:

I'm sure you're both excited and scared

Well for me it kind of went like this...

Jan - Tough, had just quit smoking as New Year's resolution

Feb - Freakin' awesome thanks to the Coldplay concert on the 27th

March - Fun because it was my anniversary month and we went on a little vacation w/o the kiddos and won money at the horse races.

April - Stressful and long...was ill for a while

May - Pretty dull until yesterday when I found out that I am pregnant again! Yay!

Rest of this year - Looks pretty good since I will be enjoying my pregnancy and getting so fat!

Congratulations!!

Any idea how far along you are?

yeah i wish sometimes time would just stop and i can relax.. there's too much to do in school lately. i dont ever remember those past months.. i dont know what i did in april.. or in march.. there's no time to write diaries and blogs and stuff, but dunno why i always come here, ignoring my schoolworks, and ignoring times.. i was here all day yesterday, and here time goes so fast.. anyway.

Always live for the moment and try not to clutter your life up with too many things.................... :wink3:

Spending all day on a messageboard is living for the moment eh? ;)

I understand what you mean Viri, but it's hard cos there's always things that get in the way. We're only young yet though, don't give up already
