Lots of boring crap...no um, I'm doing Multimedia, French :D, Enlgish, math etc. but we do co-subjects and I play in the orchestra! (I'm only in the orchestra so that I don't have to sing :P)

So many people in that situation wouldn't have even attempted to speak French when they didn't really speak it! How did he do? The audience seemed to like it!

ze_scientist - thanks for the translation - i am guessing that Chris means "award" when he says recompense - he did really well - i am so impressed how he speaks in the language of the places they play - how does he remember all of that?? How is it to listen to music that isn't in your language? I know when I listen to music in another language I am always listening so hard to try and figure out what they are saying - its hard to enjoy music that way!

Melanieau : He can't speak French. He had learnt by heart what he had to say. A French can guess it at once by the difficulty he had to pronounce some words. However, he managed very well. "Recompense" = "reward".
