I only could afford the Halloween gig in Washington, DC (Hugely great seats for a steal!) in 2008, one in Raleigh (alone in the pit) and one in Charlotte, NC for the Viva Tour, Summer, 2009, with a surly friend about the middle of the seating chart--I'll never take her to another concert again--, both with Elbow opening. I also love Elbow like crazy! Guy Garvey really made an impression on people who'd never heard him before.
