i don't think anyone is born one way or another psychologically! like when you're a baby, YOU yourself don't know that you're a

eg 'a boy and you're meant to play with trucks and cars and watch power rangers' (or whatever the youth of today watch :rolleyes: :P )

it's all to do with socialisation, therefore, there can be no sound biological basis for someone being gay can there?

 

Um... aren't people that are gay, BORN that way?

 

yes there can, aren't there studies that prove it is in your genes if you are homosexual, just like how you are left or right handed is pre-determined by your genetic make up.

 

Don't know, it's the whole 'nature v nurture' thing. Personally I think science is used to make understanding stuff like this easier :rolleyes: Sorry, I'm just a sociologist at heart, and I try to look at the effects society itself has on people's behaviour rather than science :) :P
