According to Echo And The Bunnymen singer Ian McCulloch, his band have been asked to support them.

 

"The stuff we've been doing is amazing, mega, fantastic," explained frontman Ian McCulloch to Gigwise. "But Chris (Martin) has asked us to support them on a massive tour in the New Year."

 

Martin and McCulloch formed a friendship when Coldplay recorded 'A Rush Of Blood To The Head' in Liverpool's Parr Street studios.

 

A Coldplay cover of the Bunnymen track 'Lips Like Sugar' appears on the soundtrack to the new Adam Sandler film '50 First Dates'.>>
