I can introduce myself as Keane-fan. Actually I had not heard about Keane before last summer. I got the first album from one of my friends and I liked it from the first moment. I think that "noguitar-music" makes them unique but now it looks like they will start using guitar at some tracks. Well, they haven`t released the tour dates but I hope they will come to Norway.

Yeah I noticed on the second album there is more guitar-like sounds. But it sounds good, so who am I to say. :D

I personally love Keane, they have some great music. I recommend any of their stuff, especially to Radiohead fans. "Everybody's Changing", "Is it Any Wonder", "Nothing in My Way" and "Leaving So Soon?", definitaly take a listen to these great songs.

Jesse Quinn has recorded "the fattest bass line since Billie Jean", says Richard on the band's homepage. I guess that means Jesse is now the 4th member of Keane? A bit of a shame, I love Tim's bass playing.

Yeah, well, they haven't officially confirmed it, but Jesse has been recording with them for the new album and he played live bass for them at the Mencap Little Noise gig at the Union Chapel. There's a new pic on there now featuring the 4, yes 4, of them...

 

So, he`s going to be the bass player...?...or...guitar...

Jesse plays Bass, but nobody yet knows if he's just recording with them or if he's an official member as in he's going to tour with them etc etc.

 

Tom has been photographed playing electric guitar recently too, so if that makes it onto the album it will be very interesting...

They released a new video on their website a couple days ago. It's such a take off of Coldplay's VivaLaVida video...just a lot shieter lol.

I wouldn't say it's shite, I'd say it was excellent lol. They gave some small clips of the songs they're working on. Sounds so 80s this new album, I can't wait.
