And more info. Someone at keanemusic.com managed to get a hold of the site in transition and got a copy of the single. Waiting for upload. Also, I managed to get a sneak peek at the website, and there's a nice post from TTR that says,

 

Dear friends,

As you'll have gathered from our many and varied blogs, broadcasts and photos, we've been lost in a world of new music over the last few months - writing songs, pushing our limits, making fools of ourselves, and generally having a wicked time.

We started out in Paris, where Jon Brion inspired us to create first and think later.

We took the night train to Berlin, where everything came together in an avalanche of experimentation that took us all by surprise; where we made a pact with Stuart Price to ignore the rules of good taste; where we were hypnotised by Marlene Dietrich and spent many a long night throwing ideas around in the crumbling Cabaret-esque glamour of our favourite bar.

We've hidden ourselves away in the depths of the English countryside, recorded a new track in London at the last possible moment, and now we're in Los Angeles tying up the loose ends.

We've had an amazing time making this album and we're very, very proud of it. It's called Perfect Symmetry and will be released on October 13th.

Well, they totally admin-locked the site after the leaks.

 

And the jerk who got the song refused to share it so long that the admins eventually put a stop to him totally. We all know that never would have happened here! Guess it'll be a 4 day wait. Alas!

I wouldn't tell anyone if they sent me a link...

But its a bit strange for the web company to put it online before the release... I'd have thought it'd be uploaded to their website the moment it goes on general release...

 

I think I might go back to watching that countdown, its rather nice :D

I don't like the new forum... maybe because I'm so used to the other one. Apart from that, new artwork and logo etc looks really cool. I think Keane are going to surprise a lot of people with this album (I hope so anyway).

I agree! I just hope they don't change their style too much. Is it so much to ask to get Hopes + Fears part II??

I'm sure this new album will be amazing, but I still love the simplicity and beauty of songs like This Is The Last Time and Sunshine

Its a bit strange to have an entirely new logo again though, they've had a new one for each album now... This one is my favourite so far, I wonder if it'll change with the different single releases, cos the colours on this current logo mirror the spiralling background. Unless all the singles have the same artwork or something....

 

 

Can't find the first logo easily, but its safe to say PS logo beats UTIS logo anyday :p

Yeah the seconds on the countdown are like 1.5 or 1.75 seconds long aren't they.

^ they're really good live, certainly put on a good show.

first time i saw them it was the last uk gig of hopes and fears, and they played hamburg song and nothing in my way. the second time was even better, both albums, huge sing-a-longs, just an amazing gig! And tom was playing guitar the second time. Although with this new album, i don't think a guitar is going to be quite so unusual :P

is it just me or is their website not working properly at the moment? a possible update?
