i really like keane

and i have Hopes and Fears, and Under the Iron Sea

but they're the sort of band that i'd really like the CD and love the songs and i won't stop listening to them for a month

but then id get really sick of them and i wont like the songs that much anymore.

 

and you're probably thinking that happens if u listen to any artist's song so much, but it never happenned with coldplay, radiohead, the fray (which i loooove)

it happens with travis, keane etc...

it's something about their songs...

When they first appeared I didn't like them because I thought they were a bad Coldplay copy but then I gave them a chance and listened to their album. I actually like them a lot, and although they have similarities they are not the same.

I saw them live and the energy Tom has is amazing.

 

I agree. Their sound is definitely similar, which probably has a lot to do with why I like them so much, but they very much have their own identity.:cool:

I watched the Hopes and Fears documentary yesterday and it was bloody hilarious. I really enjoyed it. All three were really funny and very likeable.

 

And I feel bad for Tom now...

I've tried to get into Keane but I just can't. Their songs just don't grab me....

 

Well, that's no entirely true, I really LOVE "Atlantic". Also "Bedshaped" isn't too bad, but those are the only songs I like from Keane.
