whether it be a little section, a verse, intro or the Whole Song!...i've noticed that there's a lot of similar sounding songs, although, it's all down to opinion...

To be honest, some of the Strokes songs sound somewhat similar to me, but not in THAT bad of a way.

This goes without saying, Jet - are you gonna be my girl and Iggy Pop - Lust for life sound the same.

- The Beatles' "Ob-la-di Ob-la-da" and Offspring's "Why Don't You Get a Job" or whatever that song was called

- The Beatles' "Sexy Sadie" and Radiohead's "Karma Police"

- Radiohead's "I Will" sounds like a hybrid of the Beatles' "She's So Heavy" and "Because."

 

Let's see if I can come up with any that don't involve the Beatles...

 

Eric Clapton's "Wonderful Tonight" and Lionel Richie's "Stuck on You" use the same guitar lick.

 

And I just noticed an embarrassing similarity between a song I wrote a few weeks ago and Belle and Sebastian's "Fox in the Snow." :rolleyes:

The "na na na" parts sound very similar

 

Oasis - Fuckin' In The Bushes // Led Zeppelin - Stairway To Heaven

the chorus riff in FITB is almost exactly the same as the beginning of the Stairway to Heaven guitar solo

 

I could list quite a lot of Oasis ones, so I'll leave it at just those two for now :confused:
