According to what I've read, people with Diabtes (insuline dependent) have a risk of a 65% (like more than healthy humans) to develope Alzheirmer....... well, with further investigations they hope to find what's the connection between Diabetes and Alz....... and see If there is a treatment.

My girlfriends little sister has had diabetes since the age of ELEVEN, crazy.
