Featured Replies

1. . Give the first person you see a cute smile.

2. Thank someone like the bus driver, or the person that gives you a lift or a person that serves you in a call centre.

3. Wish someone a good day, as it would make a positive difference to theirs as a consequence it would have a positive effect on yours.

4. Open a door for someone.

5. Tell someone how much they mean to you.

6. Listen to one of your favourite artists, singers of all time.

I always do numbers 1,2,4 and 6 everyday! Sometimes it's appreciated sometimes not. :dozey:

daryl, you came up with these tips yourself or did you paraphrase from a website?

you know, when i'm bored, just walking outside, i like to say "Heeeey, good to see ya! how are you doing, john/mary?" to the first person i meet and then they go like "what the hell? i'm uhh... good" and i say "great!" and keep walking.

aah, that always cracks me up.

or just shout "WHOA! watch out!" when theres a lot of people around. ha

well, that certainly makes MY day way better

one time i was out egging and i threw an egg at this punker on a bike and he made this wierd sound

it was hilarious

i guess you had to be there

i suppose that made a NEGATIVE difference in his day/night, oh well

hahaha

man, making a negative difference in other people's days always makes a positive difference in my day, thats for sure.

like when this 6 years old kiddo was visiting me and i beated the hell out of him cos he almost broke my snes. aah, good times.

oh man!

beating up little kids

yeah

tearing other people down to build yourself up is always a good thing :idea2:

haha

ooh, so true.

like that other day when i went to the beach and there was this fat lady trying to get in the water and swim, but i guess she was too fat to move and this wave just knocked her out, and i started to laugh really loud and that girl that was nearby noticed me and started to chat.

woo, all thanks to the fat lady.

:idea2: maybe they're too lazy to go on diets?

I dunno, but fat people are so lame. all they do is eat, fart and then go to sleep.

Seriously, why cant they just eat smart? i'm sure it isnt too hard to eat two meals everyday, instead of seven or eight meals.

When I was at the hospital..there was this older lady and we were both on our beds...and she kept talking to me about her kids and her grandkinds and balbalablabla and I was all :dozey: 'cause she would just not be quiet...and when the nurses came to take her for surgery, she still kept on talking to me...she was half away from me from the hallway and she was still talking! That really made me laugh...

haha you should've turned off her Oxygen machine when you had the chance, jo.

It had to do..that damn lady wouldn't shut up and when the nurses finally came to take her away she was still talking...which that made me laugh...in which turned into a positive day to me... so a tip to making a positive difference to someones day is to make them laugh....

Erm, nice positive posts there...

But I did get a chuckle, there you made it postitive ;)

I'm the kind of sentimental sap that actually enjoys doing most of those things.

That's the sweetest thing I've read! :nice:
