certain bands at certain times..

Featured Replies

Am I the only person who listens to bands at certain times? I mean, for example.. I'll go months with listening to a band a lot, then just all of a sudden, go on to another for some reason, even though I still enjoy the other band...

Anybody?

yea, I do that. Guess it's because my music taste is always shifting.

Like... Incubus.. They're still one of my favorite bands, but I don't listen to them anywhere near as much as I used to.

I think it's the same with a lot of people.

I'm really into to Jeff Buckley at the moment. I haven't listened to much else this week.

A year and a half ago I was hooked on Oasis all the time. I learned ALL of their songs on guitar, and I listened to nearly every album daily. But over the last few months, I've hardly really listened to them. They're still my second favourite band, but I just haven't really taken the time to appreciate the music recently.

But there's always time for Radiohead. I can listen to their albums at any time and still appreciate it. I've never really shifted away from them.

yeah I do that alot mainly because I tend to listen to a band way too much :dozey: :/

That happens to me too.

i dont listen to coldplay that much anymore really

Me too. I haven't listened to them in such a looong time.

My band preferences come and go, I'll get sick of bands from time to time as well.

i've stopped listening to coldplay

but i still do like their music

That happens to me too.

I don't listen to Coldplay much anymore, either. I did manage to put Parachutes in my pc last night though for a listen. :D

I'm always seeking out new bands, even though I still like old bands (eg. Coldplay, Radiohead) I might not listen to them a lot.

Ya, it's normal to move from one to another, then after a while you'll throw on that old CD you haven't heard in ages and listen to it non-stop for a week and wonder why you don't listen to it more ... I love doing that! :D

Same here :)

As for Coldplay, I haven't listened to AROBTTH in such a long time.... Parachutes is always on my stereo, though :) Such a great background music, and even when I wanna have a nap I put it on.

It's so great to wake up to the sound of Chris' voice :D

there are only a few bands i can listen to pretty much constantly

radiohead and coldplay are two of those bands :D

I'm the kind of person that has like, 10 favourite bands, so i never get tired of em.

But I know what you mean, it happens here all the time too.
