HAHahah, why was this thread bumped NOW when i was eating choco :disappointed:

I'm planning to start a diet at some point. Well, not really a diet but just to descrease the amount of goodies i eat. I'm just that kind of person who eats insane amounts of goods if they're available. I don't actually buy sweets or any other unhealthy stuff but if someone else buys it i just can't stop myself from eating it, meh.

My goal is to lose about 5kg by next summer 'cause i want to look dashing (well, semi dashing at least ) when i graduate..

plus i'm sick of not being happy with my body :uneasy:

yes, me too. i have been sick this week so it gave me a jump start. food was so unappetizing to me, for once . i dont need to lose much just dont want to buy clothes a size bigger and i dont want them to be tight. running works for me with my ipod on full blast to the live 2003 album, of which we need another, ahem....... its just been too cold to run

^

yeah, i know.

in fact, i hate my body. i've been having those issues for quite some time now and it's so annoying to have self-control one minute and then go binging the next. :(

food is so evil. :(

we're going to rome in october and i want to look good by then ( in case i can't make it on time for the summer season) because it's rome..!! and we're probably going to hang out by the swimming pool and blergh. and i don't want to look like a fat whale next to all the skinny girls from my german class.

chocolate is fucking evil.

and those yogu berries they claim are healthy and without fat. they're still full of sugar... and soooo yummy.

i can't run.

i could do anything - swim, play basketball or badminton or volleyball, but i just can't do running.

it's killing me.

i guess i should addtionally quit smoking, but i just can't and running is so not my thing. therefore, i have to restrict my eating. hehe. and i should sign up for the gym, but i feel horrible about going there because all the guys who hang out there are pretty creepy pedophiles.

you should be able to enjoy everything Rome has to offer so start walking. running is hard.i hope you have a great time

i tried running while listening to motivating, fast pace music.

still, it didn't help.

man, i miss those days when i was really skinny.

as a kid i was extremely underweight, but not in a sick kind of way. i just didn't like eating and all i had was sweets. and i remember that day at kindergarten when i had that yoghurt and i couldn't finish it and the nursery school teacher wouldn't let me play with the others until i finished it and i just couldn't it was a 100 g cup of yoghurt and i couldn't finish it. heh. however, i really didn't get to play with the others in the gym room because i spent about an hour trying to finish that stupid yoghurt.

but nowadays...i enjoy eating a bit too much.

^ you people get out of here! :laugh3:

it just leads to depression among us chubby kids. :D

skinny people => depression => binge => major binge => weight gain!

is there a nice nearby place to walk around at? even if it's at some shopping area or such, you can still walk around for an hour or two. don't be tempted by restaurants and such (i know, easier said than done lol, but if you can...have a friend walk with you so they can stop you). aside from that you can do little workouts at home from various activities. moving furniture while vacuuming, step up and down on a little step-platform/chair, stretch while watching TV, etc. be creative. just don't sit still in one place.

as for the smoking thing...if there's something you like to do (ASIDE from smoking!), put all of your focus on that particular hobby or whatever. almost like trading in an addiction for another (but make sure it's a good addiction! lol) :)

^^ awww... thanks for the tips!

well, it's hard to walk around here, though, as it is cold as fuck atm. i walk to school and back home every day, though. ... if that counts. ;)

i've always seen shopping and walking in high heels as my work out programme. :laugh3:

plus, that smoking thing has gotten worse when i started working because everyone at work smokes and it's a way of stress relief. :( especially, when i have a bunch of exams coming up.

Haha :D I'm not skinny, in fact, my legs and arse look pretty horrible but I can't do much about it. So I just have to be satisfied with who I am.

Running, blergh. I HATE it. The gym is a good option and if you don't want to be there alone, bring a friend of yours with you.

i dont know, it's like i have random diets at weird times. so i guess i can't really vote lol.

I have no experience with diets.

But since I'm vegetarian, I have already lost more weight than I'd like ;)

strange, why i can't vote on the poll when i don't remember i did voted here earlier?

anyways i'm not on a diet, if i were on it i would ask doctors and so have a healthy diet. (i mean i don't think is good go on diet on ourselves and specially those strange diets that some mags say, like carrot diet which consist on eat just carrots for a week. :\ )

that carrot thing doesnt sound healthy..

anyways, i think if you want to lose weight, then just eat healthier (dont eat less food!) and go jogging, or whatever sport you like. and in most of cases there's no need of diet or sport, many girls just feel they're fat when they're perfect. it's one of the "things i don't understand":D

i don't know.

i even hate that feeling of being full whether i ate healthily or not.

being full is just such an awful feeling.

^not being full after an hour eating, that's an awful feeling!

i have to eat lots of food after feelling full. it can be annoying some times.

running is actually the only thing i'm willing to do. Especially since none of my friends are insanely into sports and i going to the swimming hall or to the gym first of all: costs

secondly: takes too much time to go there and come back

I so know what you're saying. I was quite slim when i was 11 till i was 14 or so but then pubertity really hit me and i magically came a bit chubby even. Then i magically lost most of that extra weight without even noticing. I'm still perfectly normal size but it's just not good enough for me when i could look better, you know?

For my luck my mum is actually a nutrition specialist so i don't have to worry about eating the wrong foods  Plus i'm thinking of studying nutrition too and i already know quite a lot about it..

PLUS i already eat quite balanced meals and i'm not going to change that. I'm just gonna stop eating sweets and all that shit and eat more veggies.

It's not gonna be easy when i have a dad that brings cookies into the house every other day grr....

yeah, my parents feed me too well.

meaning that they always buy tons of candy, ice cream, biscuit when they do the weekend shopping. :(

well, at least i already know i'll become skinny as soon as i live alone because i hardly ever spend my money on food. :laugh3: and i rather have a full closet than a full fridge.

and i recently had the most depressing moment ever.

i tried on a size 27 pair of jeans at zara and it didn't fit. it was one of those REALLY thight skinny jeans that have zippers at the end of each leg, so you can fit in them and i even had a hard time pulling them up. :dozey:

My mum is on a diet..A really stupid one. There's a woman here who made her own diet, called: Sonja bakker

She is freaking annoying  She is on tv everywhere, got her own magazines and books, everyone who is on a diet talks about her and how good her diet is.argh.

Im just using the wii fit :smug:

hahaha, i'm quite sure too that i'd lose some weight when i move to live on my own because i simply wouldn't afford to buy all that crap so i'd live on potatoes, onions and carrots  i like cooking though so that's not a problem either

But we'll see if my theory is right or not next fall when i most likely will move out of my parent's house.

^ i envy you. i want to move out as soon as possible, but i still have one and a half year of school ahead of me :(

blah blergh.

Yeah well i'm extremely eager to move out now already but there's really no point to do that before i know where i'll be studying next year

I also love the fact that no one knows me where i'm going to study ( even if i stay in my city) and i can just change my style completely if i want to. But this talk belongs in the fashion thread really
