photostream by sigur rós

5 February 2007

in late september of last year the members of sigur rós travelled to swaziland to visit HIV-positive orphans. the band members all brought their cameras along and took photos everywhere they went. we have now put the photos together into this swaziland photostream for all to see, with music by sigur rós accompanying the slideshow. we have also translated an interview with the band about their journey.

they are great photographers and the pictures and music - this should be made into a commercial, more people should see it, get the message across loud and clear with grace ... thanks for the link Will.

celimphilo is a six-year old boy that lost his parents shortly after being born. he is HIV-positive but has done well on his medication, so his health is much better than many others who are infected. sigur rós paid a visit to his home where he is under the care of his uncle. celimphilo was especially fond of kjartan.
