OK, here's the deal:

 

Live in Stockholm, Sweden, on Saturday 23rd November 2002, Coldplay played a brand new song, previously unheard, called "Marianne" or "Sweet Marianne". It has been described as a "full on rock song" by fans who got to hear it.

 

A guy called Gromit claimed to have recorded this song (thinking it to be called "Madelaine" - see his posts on this page:

I've emailed him to ask if he's got it and could maybe help us get hold of a copy. Maybe if some other people wrote this guy a nice email, he might be willing to share it with us? Or maybe someone else out there also recorded the gig?

 

Even if we can't get hold of Gromit, let's hope that Coldplay play this tune again on the next leg of their tour, and maybe even more new songs!!!
