student loan.. i'm still waiting to get the grant that i'm suppoused to get to help me to pay all things here... :dozey: politicians and "burro-crazy" :angry:

My plan is to work for a couple years saving money up, go to Uni getting a loan to cover my time at Uni when my savings is earning good interest, then straight away pay off the loan.

good plan david. :) many students work ands study at the same time, i think it is stressing :uhoh:

 

if i finally will do a second degree i would like to have a job at the same time, although i won't have many free time :( but i'll take that second one calmy :)

the names and contents of degrees and kind of degrees.. in spain there was diplomatura (3 years), licenciatura (5 years) doctorado (5 years + thesis)

 

now it'll be something called grado (4 years) all degrees will be 4 years (even medicine), so i don't know what will be the way to once you have done a diplomatura do a licenciatura later.. it'll be 8 years or what? :uhoh:

 

and from what i've heard those are orders directly from Europe... and in Portugal is happening almos the same... Tourism was 4 years degree now is 3... and they study nothing of Law in the degree, when that's an important thing on our degree. :confused:
