i couldn't present my work today, because there was no lesson... :( i went to visit a wine museum this morning, is was so minimal kind, so original i think.

 

i have to present another work to the teacher for next thursday :uhoh: even printed... and show it to the class a week later (compare spanish and portuguese wines); a resume of a sociology article... and a work for communitacion and publicity (promote Spain in Portugal) :uhoh:

 

is a bit stressing :confused: i hope i can do it all, 'cause the award is so cool, i'll be free 2 months and go to Spain, but there i will have exams in january and february, so not that free after all :( but well.

How are you my trip to Lisboa is almost over now...

Its been good, I have enjoyed the soups.. made a few new friends and a girl from India who is traveling Europe is coming to see me in Barça in the new year..

 

I went to Centra yesterday, to the castle of morros. Its was such a long walk up hills very nice though..

 

If youre ever needing to stay in Lisbon I would highly recomened a hostel I stayed at (goodnight backpackers hostel lisboa. If you google it or go on hostelworld.com you should be able to find it.

The man that owns the hostel is one of the nicest people I have met...

yesterday morning we visited a wine museum, so cool and original. and students of my class talk to me each time they see me, they try to speak spanish :laugh2:

my presentation about Spain for tourism geography has been moved to next tuesday.

i have to give a work tomorrow to a teacher, i have to print it first tomorrow, hope it won't take too much time.. :uhoh: because is the last day to give it to the lecturer :confused:

just less than two weeks to go to see my family :nice:

but i'm a bit worried about my father, many hours driving... :uhoh: he will depart from my city next monday, and will arrive to Portugal surely on thursday.

it'll be a bit busy and stressing those last days but... i hope i have finished them all for next friday so i'll be free to go out with people (although they are now also busy with works..)

I missed my flight back to Barcelona... !!!

I am so silly... :(

I thought the flight to depart at 10.40, it was due to leave at 10.20 instead...

what makes matters worse, when I got to the airport. I could have got on the flight, but in a panic I was in, I thought the flight was leaving from a different terminal. So I got a bus to the different one, when I come back the checkin desks had closed...

Also I got robbed 80 euros the other day, I was silly...

Still despite this I have a good time in Lisbon, a great one and the friends I have made does not come to the price I have paid..

I have now booked a new flight again.. however its cost me a lot..

i'm doing fine, just give a work to a teacher (so i still have to do 2). i'm waking up very early this week so i'm a bit tired now.. and still i have a lecture this evening :confused:

my dad will come here next week (surely next thursday). :) and so i don't know when i will depart back to Spain... if friday or saturday... i just had spoken with coordinator and there's no problem if i will stay in Spain for two months :nice:

i want to go out this weekend, i hadn't went out for weeks as i was busy with works and so i miss the people :cry:

and yeah creativity seems to be back :dance: i really missed it.

busy and productive day:

i printed the work for wintourism and gave it to the teacher (had to go to her desk twice as first time it was closed); found an office where i should go to sign something (a guy from my class offered to explain me where it was and came with me), then people brought beer to class (they were talking about germany for a work, but i refused it (seems that each thursday i must come back drunk to student hall from class).

i've talked to one of the spanish girls that is in my student hall. :)

and tourism will have a dinner next thursday (when i present in class winetourism work, and also when my dad will come).

but there still that guy. :rolleyes: he has been nice with me since wine tasting course, and on our first winetourism visit, and on the wine museum visit he was always around me.. today i saw him (going to the office where i should go) and he said hi.. (i should had asked him where the office was :uhoh: but i'm so shy)...

some girls sent an email to all class so i have his account, but i hadn't added him :embarassed: don't know if do it or not :confused: i'm so shy :shy: and i really hardly know him, but for me is giving sign of interest about me (today he gave me the paper to sign to can go to the dinner).... few... may be he is only been kind with me :(.... and two months abroad again :cry:

 

(surely tomorrow i wouldn't had posted that here, but i feel i needed to say it).

oh no, i feel totally good when i wrote it... i mean when i finished it.. i wanted to write it but i didn't had the right words and now ta da :) the magic of writing is that it calm me down (most of the times).

i mean the idea of that poem was on my head since monday, but i didn't had the right words since yesterday... :thinking: usually it don't takes me that long to write a poem... i would like to compose music for that poem and some other ones. we weren't close friends but i talked to her without problems... i mean there were other people in my class that tried to avoid her :(

may be i'm on a too much thing and memories way now.. :thinking:

but who knows may be next one is a love one :rolleyes:

 

i want to buy an electric guitar this xmas :nice: hope i'll can, if so i'll can practice there for a month or so. :D the idea of form a band is still on my head, i even told to my father, that i would like to create a new genre :P but seriously for all that i must wait till next june or so, still many things to do here, but i have many projects for when i'll be back to Spain.

Sorry its been a long time

How are you today ? I am fine, today I went to FNAC and got a camera and a new MP4 player... :)

 

I had a little problem though I got a card from the store to buy some the items. When I went to the counter the lady behind the counter asked me to wait, then the next thing I know there is a secruity gaurd who did not seem to pleased asked me to come with him. He took me in a back room, where they seem to take people that try and steal from the store. He went on to tell me, that the card belonged to a girl. However he was puzzled when I was able to produce my passport N.I.E , and nominer.

 

He went away to the desk where I got the card from and when he come back he said sorry on behalf of the store. I was not worried, as I knew I had not done anything wrong and there had been some silly mistake. I went on to get a new card, and got my things and left.

 

One thing came out of this, my understanding of Spanish is much better ..!

 

I go to Manchester on Monday for Christmas and new year. I come back to Barcelona shortly afterwards. I have a few presents for people I got from Lisbon. Despite me missing my flight there, I enjoyed the last day, also i got a special present for a friend of mine, as his wife just had their second baby, and the present I got was like a little train set that spelt his new sons name, when I gave it to him (the dad) he almost cried. I got more satisfaction out that than anything, also when a friend has a baby you get a new one without even trying.

 

I hope you got back home with your dad OK. I was praying for you both such a long journey. i thought at one point when I had missed my flight in lisbon I thought I was going to ask you both for a lift back to spain and wherever you drop me off, find my own way back to Barca.

 

Have a great christmas ari and I hope the new year brings your wishes true. I am sure we will speak before then.

 

I am meeting Iris sometime this week, I will take some pics with my new camera whilst we are out.
