Nazaré (located in the distrit of Leiria) (yes, just where David Fonseca is from and lives (the disctrit), and believe me that is just a coincidence, but would be cool to 'meet' him there, although i doubt it happen).

I'm so happy as finally i will visit that region (Leiria), that seems to be a wonderful place... although i feel bad yet 'cause i've missed another previous trip to this area :cry: (it included: Batalha, Óbidos, and Foz de Arelho) but i hope i'll go to Batalha this summer to attend a concert :dance: i had almost convinced my dad for that. :D

sorry that i had left the board so sudden, but the conenction failed and plus just in that time:

 

at 10pm i got a phone call from a spanish erasmus

he told me that there were going to have

a barbeque that night, so i left everything

of what i was doing and went to it.

 

i meet two of them at the main square and then went to their cplace

 

we were 12 people (including me) at first:

out mentor:miguel

the cypruss guy: chris (christophorus)

spanish erasmus: guillermo and Fernando (the bbq was at his place)

lithuanian erasmus: 3 girls: tatarika, egle, sonata and two boys: robedus, and i don't remember the name of the other guy

the belgium boy: hardin (i don't know how to type his name, is a dutch name, from Hyacint).

the polish guy: chris

 

we had some meat cooked with beer, and some veggies on it.

i really enjoyed that time, too bad that i didn't took any pcs.

 

a cool lithuanian boy prepared a tea for me.

we were all togther in the patio of the house.

the polish guy left so soon, at midnight.

 

we talked about stuff and general nonsense sometimes

we talked about our languages, trips they had done, and so on.

 

they even went crazy and wanted to do some 'magic' with the fire of a lighter

then the nice lithuanian boy brought some drinks from his place

and now we were 11 including me, we drunk, in rounds.

it was lithuanian vodka and coke.

we had done like 3 rounds (spent 2 bottles on that), and then he brought gyn, and we did again a round.

 

i came back with out mentor, a lithuanian girl that stays in the students hall and a belgium boy, we had been talking outside (at the college parking) for an hour or so.

 

our mentor had told us that for next trip we will visit 5 places :o

 

i have to prepare things for that trip, the fact of them having done so many trips by themselves, made me think about

an idea i had for this semester but that i hadn't done due to so many tasks i had to do this semester and to my too high level of responsability, which had made me do few things of a normal erasmus.

 

so i'm thinking to spend my last week or two weeks just travelling through the country by myself.

 

for that i need to know exactly when are my exams in spain, as here i'm allowed to be until 15th june, and i want to enjoy it as much as the others had done.

 

i feel a bit bad for having come back that late having lectures that soon, but i really had enjoyed that time.

 

may be it was for the drink, the smoke of the wood, or my current obsesion, but i realized that the two guys i was interested in once i came here, remind me of DF :stunned: Guillermo for his hair, and Chris for his face.. but still there was something tonight witht he nice lithuanian guy (Robedus i think is his name), i noticied that he has been very kind with me all the time, and for a brief moment he stared at me from the other corner of the patio, and plus at the end he even talked to me.

 

anyways what matters is that i had enjoyed it very much.

 

miguel has told us (when we were talking outside), that we should organize a big party after most of us will go.

 

he is so cool, isn't he?

 

again, i'll miss this place so much and i'm already looking forward to come back here.

 

i just come back from it is 5.17 and i have lectures at 8.30 :o

i'm awake as is not worthy to sleep for so few time.

and visiting the country on your own sounds great ! you definitely should do it !

i'll try to, i just sent a message to my dad this morning about it, i need he gets the dates of my exams in Spain, to can do it. :thinking: and yeah i had a lovely evening. I wish i had had more (i'm disliking this semester sometimes :cry:), but well i still have time. ;)

 

had you seen the pics of the place we will visit?... we will go to the beach, lol i have to buy me some things for that trip hehe. :D

btw i've been talking with another fonsecaholic from his board, (those people are lovely, you all are ;)), he offered me to look for the albums of Silence 4 and David and send them to me :nice: (me paying the cost of the album...).

not the idea is to have many places on the list, just in case i have to skip one, i can fastly think of another place where to go..

anyways that is a draft.. i have to check many things before, places to stay, things to visit, bus timetable and cost... :thinking: it'll be hard work but it'll worth the effort.

 

and btw on our next Erasmus trip we are going to visit 5 places, that's why i took this idea of list 5 places on each main city. :) (the other 4 places of each day are pretty close to the first one.

I just got the information i needed, the exams start in Spain the 2nd of June, there's two exams at the begin of the month and then nothing until 16th June :cry:

 

i can't do the trips i've planned to do.. I'll had gone back to Spain, without having enjoyed my Erasmus in Portugal, as the others have done.. and all due 'cause although my teachers in spain thinks not, i am responsable and i had cared about subejcts there. and all because they are stupids, and i have to do all things twice to can pass a subject :cry:

 

i feel really really bad now, really.

 

i hate my classmates now, i hate my teachers now... i hate everything now.

 

them had ruined my last month here (all my happiness and ilusion have just disappear), they will ruin my summer (i fear now that i won't be in the mood to come here to the concerts i wanted to, and that for this bad that i feel now i will lose many subjects there), they will ruin my september, a whole year they will ruin.

 

and the worst is that i'll have have to deal with stupids comments from my teachers about erasmus people due to their personal prejudices about it.

 

why i can't had a normal erasmus as everybody has here? I'm the only one in this nigthmare situation, due to my teachers in spain :cry:

 

true i love this country so much, true i'd done many cool things here, true i had met cool people, true i am the only one here interested really in portuguese culture, but i¡m the one that had travelled less, almost nothing, when it wasn't for one reason it was for another one, i couldn't go to as many trips as the others. :cry:

 

and it makes me feel guilty, when really i'm the victim.

thank you chavi, i really appreciate it.. well i was off, i talked with my dad, he advice me to tell the teacher to move an exam for me (first exam is the 2nd of june, and here is still lectures that day, the last one), so with this 'excuse' i can stay until 10 june as i had planned, and so i could do the trips. (don't my dad is so cool :nice:), but still i feel a bit bad for that. :\ oh well.. i shouldn't let it affects me now, but i really felt very bad, (even i worried my father :(), very frustrated.

i even didn't wanted to listen to music, or write or anything, but i can't let this thing to beat me down.

Hope you're teacher will give you good news ! but then dont expect too much this time.. I dont mean you wont be able to make this trip (I really hope you will) but it'd be bad if you'd get high hopes again and be disppointed at the end.

I know it can be really frustrating when you plan something and then you gotta call everything off.. but as you said you shouldnt let all this beat you down. You'll have plenty of other opportunities to make that trip ! I'm sure !

He leído por el foro que te has llevado una decepción o algo así... qué ha pasado realmente?

me alegro, he estado viendo un poco tu MySpace, fotos muy bonitas ;)

 

porque tenia pensado pasar la ultima semana viajando por mi cuenta por Portugal y resulta que quizá deba volver a España antes de lo que pensaba, porque mis compañeros como TODOS los años NO saben planificar bien los examenes:

tenemos uno el dia 4 de junio y luego NADA hasta el 16. Y yo pensaba quedarme por Portugal hasta el dia 10 para hacer esos viajecitos (ya que mi beca es hasta el dia 15).

 

En fin lo estoy preparando para este verano, visitar al menos 11 ciudades e incluir en ello varios conciertos. :)

 

No me desanimaré mucho, el viernes próximo tenemos una excursión a cinco ciudades :stunned: entre ellas Nazaré (leiria) y Almourol :D (Ya puse aqui unas fotos que encontré de ambos sitios, playa y un castillo, precioso, y bueno el hecho de ir a Leiria. :nice:

creo que ya lo entiendo. Te gustaría hacer este viajecito con tus compañeros, no? Porque si lo quieres hacer sola no creo que tengas ningún problema, ya que te puedes quedar unos dias más aunque no tengas la beca...

El problema es que AHORA queria hacer yo tambien viajes por mi cuenta, ahora que iba a tener casi dos semanas sin nada que hacer, y resulta que no va a poder ser :\ por lo que te digo, tener examen el dia 4 y luego UNA SEMANA sin nada que hacer :cry:

 

un poco, pero la verdad que me bajó mucho la moral el tema, queria llorar cuando me enteré :( es que ni queria oir musica (mira que en mí eso es rarisimo).

a mi normalmente tampoco me gusta como salgo en las fotos, pero hago una selección de las que quedan decentes!

 

entonces si que lo podrías hacer, no? quiero decir que te podrías quedar un poquito más de tiempo en portugal ya que estás allá y hacer este viajecito por tu cuenta que te has propuesto cuando ya hayas hecho el último examen.

 

eso me ha pasado a mi también, en serio, el hecho de sentirme fatal y no tener ni fuerzas para escuchar música. es realmente increíble.
