Thanks, it's over ! Good news, I just finalized the Coldplay Christmas playlist. It is 38 minutes long, so almost album-length, and hopefully contains a few surprises. @Nie, happy to say your "request" was accommodated :D The download will be up soon. I think it would be awesome if you all refrained from listening to it until the party itself, so that none of the surprises get spoiled. What do you think ?

Hm, this will be a tough one. I don't want anybody to be excluded, so I just decided to delete my own vote cause I don't wanna be part of the decision. I'm not sure I could make it at 10 am EST, but also not sure that I cannot make it, so let's see. Since the two choices people seem to go for are 5 pm EST or 10 am EST, let me ask reversely: Is there anyone who would not be able to participate at 10 am EST ? By the way, the download for the playlist will be available as of Friday. I have a major exam tomorrow so that's why I couldn't finalize the playlist yet ! Also, more votes please, people ! :)

Yeah, it's a shame that all these old songs are presented in truncated forms and usually with lots of mistakes in the singing. I'm glad you liked the Speed Of Sound version, but wasn't it greatly abbreviated too ?

This morning a lovely Christmas card from Nathalie from Brazil (don't know the username, unfortunately) was waiting for me in my mailbox ! Will post a picture later, but thanls a lot already ! :) (And funny coincidence, my match for sending is also in Brazil, but in another city :D)

I have to say I actually reported this item to eBay, mainly because this guy regularly sells those fakes, but seems they ended up doing nothing...! Well, it's not in ebay's interest to investigate (also, i guess it's difficult to prove) and/or possibly shut stuff down. After all, they make 10% of every transaction, fake or not. Let's just hope the person who bought it knows it's fake...at that price at least, you gotta know something is wrong. I mean, it's way off the "regular price", I hope people are not foolish enough to believe there are these kind of "bargains" lying around !

It has got its downsides too (I often encounter heavy and sometimes ridiculously formulaic and pointless bureucracy here...), but having lived in both countries, I have to agree that the German post is much cheaper, quicker and has the better service (although the offices often have very limited open hours, which again was better in the US)...especially the intnl shipping prices here are so much better compared to the US !

I've looked at all the Lounge threads on the first two listed pages but i still can't make a connection...also pursued the other clued but to no avail yet ! :)

AROBTTH I love that artwork from an emotional point of view because of its connection to the music of that album, but let's face it: if you look as it just at an artwork, it's really ugly...if I had to choose an unknown disc from a shop and I came across this one, i'd never buy this one based on that cover (and thus miss out on the best album.of the decade, lol)
