And what i find disappointing about Up and Up is the drumbeat...seriously, other than that I think the song is quite OK.

I really love the "a HEAD full, a HEAD full of dreams" part.

I do not doubt that, but I was trying my best to judge the songs without comparing them to Oldplay (cause you know, I wanna avoid murder and bloodshed and A Forum Full Of Fighting right now...)

One thing which I don't like is, Coldplay was always a band with extremely strong lead melodies (which is very important for me personally to love a piece of music). Miss those melodies in all AHFOD songs known so far (except perhaps Amazing Day, which comes close to having a good melody).

I'm not too impressed either, but hey I have to admit they are both way better than AOAL, so everything's not lost..

"Coldplay" in Hindi.

AHFOD was very much like Hurts Like Heaven, I didn't like it too much but I certainly liked it better than AOAL ! Especially the "in a head...in a head..." part ! As for Up&Up, my stream crashed (once again) during its performance so I have to watch it again before I give my verdict...

Oh great, so we will be able to see it after all !

Where can I listen to the instrumetals ? Is Tidal streaming them ? I don't get it. I think I will go do the dishes in the meantime.

They finally released their album and called it A Rush of X&Y to a Head Full Of Parachutes Or Mylo and all His Friends.

I love it when Coldplay has cryptic lyrics. Makes it easy for you to relate (which is often part of the emotional experiencing of songs), and often they are very poetic too. AROBTTH and X&Y both use this kind of lyrics very well.
