As I explained above, I never wear a sports team shirt and I also don't care about brands. I also explained above why I wouldn't wear Coldplay merchandise in public because I would wear no band's merchandise in public, so it's not a Coldplay thing.

Hm, I would say AROBTTH is alternative rock and VLVODAAHF is art rock / pop rock. @jer123: Yeah, that's what I also meant. Without Paradise and Viva La Vida I wouldn't have discovered them at all. But that's enough hits Coldplay, lets return back to basics ;)

I didn't mix you two up, but I recall that 2 times you thought someone had hacked into your account :D As for the T-shirt, easy ! You create your message in the art generator and save the image. Buy a white/unicolour T-shirt and a special film for garment printing, then put it in your printer and print the image onto the film. Then iron the film onto the T-shirt. If you don't wanna do it manually, there are web shops allowing you to create a custom t-shirt with any image you like.

As for Major Minus: I was not implying it is one of Coldplay's best songs overall. But on an album like MX which has got tracks like UATW, Up In Flames, UFO, Charlie Brown it is a good song because it is a rockier one. Jonny's guitar solo is good. Also, there is some anger to it that can only ever be found in Violet Hill. I wouldn't call it bland. The epitome of bland in MX for me are UATW and Up In Flames. As for Princess Of China: Dont get me wrong. I dislike Pop, and I dislike Rihanna (that said, there's in fact one song by Rihanna that I like, again a collab - check it out here if you're interested [video=youtube;wS4InT7Ycdk] ). I heard POC in the radio at a time when I had never heard the word "Coldplay", and it struck me - same as did Paradise - as a pop song that is different from the other pop songs on the radio. The OOOOHs have a great melody and make the song stand out. It has this majestic, a bit pompous sound like the instrumental parts of Paradise and Viva that sets Coldplay's poppier hits apart in the sea of mainstream pop. Sure, the vocals could be better and Chris is hardly audible at times but then again Rihanna did a decent job on her vocals and didn't ruin the song. All in all, of course it doesn't compare to Oldplay for me but it is a good pop song by Coldplay, as is Paradise.

It would be funny to make an avatar with something rude (e.g. I hate coldplaying) :P I only discovered this art generator right now :D I have long noticed several people had those codes as avatars though. In fact, there was a time when AMDB9 and you had similar avatars (both Baudot codes) and it was confusing because I would tend to mix you two up :D That being said, and in cross-refelection with our discussion on the Random thread, it would be cool to wear a message you like in Baudot code on your shirt - it would be pretty unique and also a somewhat hidden and sophisticated nod to Coldplay/Oldplay ! :)

No way. I'm already plotting #SavePOC :D And Major Minus, seriously, why so much hate on Major Minus lately ? :( Anyone who knows me well knows I don't like MX, but Major Minus and POC are among the better tracks on this album imho.

Funnily enough, I (a hardcore Oldplayer) am one of those who were hooked by Viva. I think big hits are not a bad thing as they are the music you are most likely to hear in the radio and which can make you discover bands and artists. My issue with Newplay is not really that there are some very commercial hits, but rather that the other album tracks have adopted this sound now too.

If I were to envision Coldplay clothing, that's what i would do. At least a shirt, not shit (hilarious typo :D) Yeah, as you know I don't like the direction Coldplay has gone to post-Viva, and yes I refer to MX (and perhaps AHFOD, we'll see) as color pop because that seems to me a very suitable wording, given the aesthetics of the large shows too.
