Random Coldplay thoughts...
Anyone want the producer of the next record to be Jon Hopkins again? Anyone want these opening acts next tour: Jake Bugg, Wolf Alice and Jamie xx? Anyone want Coldplay to make a show where they just plain rock out? Anyone want Coldplay to make a show where they just play dead relaxing stuff? Anyone want Coldplay to perform at the Oscar's? Anyone want Coldplay to reunite with their old sound? Answer/Discuss these questions. Just for fun:P

Decide The Future Of Coldplay: A Real Life Situation Game
2001 The year of 2001 begins after the huge success of 'Parachutes', where Coldplay go on a world tour to promote the album. These concerts feature album material, as well as rarities from early EP's and unreleased Starfish tracks. The concerts would usually last 3 hours. It has earned the group praise from the editors of the NME and their hardcore fans, quoting each show to be an 'experience' and a 'post-Britpop phenomenon'. Some have even noted the show has comparisons to Prog Rock legends Rush and Pink Floyd, with guitarist Jonny Buckland playing for 45mins solo. Due to this, Coldplay lost their 'bed-wetting' phase and are now entering their 'Progressive Britpop' phase. This has now set them apart from their counterparts. And due to a massive increase in demand, the Safety EP was re-released, with a pressing of 1,000,000 copies. Not only was this the biggest year for the band yet, but it also earned them a hit with 'Bigger Stronger', debuting at No 1. Also present this year was Martin's charity work, donating album sales to the British Heart Foundation and other major causes. At the end of the year, Martin made his protest clear as well, storming into the meeting this December of the UN Security Council after the terrible, awful and tragic events in New York. He ran into the hall demanding world peace with a banner reading 'GIVE ME LOVE OVER THIS!!!!!!!'. Overall, it has earned him the nickname 'The People's Champion'. As well as that, rumours are circling that Buckland may shape the next album's sound: he has been inspired by Jazz. People have guessed this as he seemed to add a Miles Davis element during Everything's Not Lost on the tour. Not all the band is happy with this, and they plan to discuss soon. Their next album is set to be released the following year, entitled 'A Rush Of Blood To The Head'. PARACHUTES TOUR SETLIST Don't Panic Yellow Shiver Animals Only Superstition Trouble See You Soon Careful Where You Stand High Speed For You Ode To Deodrant Panic Such A Rush You Only Live Twice (Cover) ENCORE A Ghost Hexagon (45 Min Improv Jonny Solo) Everything's Not Lost (Jazz Section in middle) YOU HAVE 5 DAYS TO PLAN 2002! GOOD LUCK!:P
