Los Unidades
...ugh. hateful? i'm sorry, but if you find this hateful, then you're going a tad over the top. what i mean is that this is the last thing that a lot of us wanted after AHFOD. it's (hopefully) only a side project.

AHFOD Film - Prime Account
To think that by at some point early next year, Amazon are going to have both AHFOD and Suspiria on Prime... I'll probably not get the chance to buy a ticket to see the latter exclusively (unlike AHFOD). Thank god for Amazon.

A Head Full of Dreams Film - In Cinemas Nov.14
I just went to watch it w/ my dad at our local cinema. What can I say. Such a special documentary. Loved every minute...so much footage from their earlier years that I never got the chance to see (even scraping around channels on YT)! I love this band.

Mixtape Exchange #20 [REVIEWS & TRACKLISTS]
Just a quick heads up: if you haven't finished your mixtape yet and are worried about the deadline, everything's alright. You can take your time making them and get them to me as soon as possible. Honestly, the deadline was only there to give people an idea on when to get them in for. Sorry for any inconveniences.:)

Mixtape Exchange #20 [REVIEWS & TRACKLISTS]
for some reason it's not letting me, have you got direct messages/comments turned off or something? just wondering, as it's coming up with a message saying something along the lines of 'Not allowed to send message to yoyo2000'. @Captain Crieff can you sort this out?
-
Mixtape Exchange #20 [REVIEWS & TRACKLISTS]
@yoyo2000 is it ok if I can direct message on the forum the name of the person you'll be making your mixtape for?:)

Mixtape Exchange #20 [REVIEWS & TRACKLISTS]
Ok! Three participants so far! Due to the simple fact that my life is currently chaos (VERY busy) with schoolwork, personal work and other shit, I'll be delaying my tapes release date. I'll DEFINITELY be releasing my mixtape 'Futureworlds' at the end of this week for you all to listen to and review. Thanks, Jack :)

Mixtape Exchange #20 [REVIEWS & TRACKLISTS]
Time to give this another go, after it's year hiatus. The Coldplaying Mixtape Exchange is a fun way to discover new music while also giving you the chance to share music that you enjoy with other Coldplayers. Basically what happens is that you'll be given the name of the person who you will be making your mixtape for, and all you have to do is get together some songs that you really like, that go well together, and/or that your partner has most likely never heard before; but you must not let anyone know who you're making your mixtape for, and your partner must not know what exactly he or she is listening to - it has to be a surprise! After your partner reviews your mixtape, you will then get to reveal yourself and the tracklisting. You will of course be receiving a mixtape to review as well! How this works? 1. Sign up saying you want to participate - leave your name on the thread 2. When the deadline for signing up is over, you'll get a PM from me giving you the name of another participant in the Exchange. You will be making a mix for this person, whoever they may be 3. You mustn't reveal who you are making the mix for, on pain of being tickled by a thousand feathers 4. Make your mix-tape (average length is around 50-70 minutes) and delete the info for each song. The person must not know what songs/artists are on the mixtape. Rather than just calling the songs 'Track 1', 'Track 2' etc you could be creative and make up fake titles. 5. Upload the mix-tape to something like MEGA.nz and send me the link and a tracklisting. I will then send it to the person assigned to you, keeping your identity a secret of course! 6. When you receive a mix-tape, listen to it, write a review and post it in this thread. 7. The person who made the mix-tape will then post the track-list and the link so everybody can download it. Simple as that. Note: Please make sure before you sign up that you're actually going be able to follow through on this, or at least let me know before the deadline ends if you're going to be too busy to participate and you need your name taken off of the list. In past mixtape exchanges, several people never received mixtapes or reviews because their mixtaper/mixtapee never bothered to go through with it, and that's pretty inconsiderate to those who worked hard to make a mixtape and never got anything in return. Mixtape exchanges only happen a couple times a year so they're to be taken pretty seriously. The deadline for signing up is September 30th 2018(GMT)and you will have some time to create your mixtapes in for 19th October 2018. Here is a good guideline for deleting the song information: The Song Information Deletion Tutorial 1. Find the tracks you plan on putting on your mixtape, and copy-and-paste them to a new folder, away from all the other stuff. You can either right-click and find "copy" and "paste," or you can use the shortcuts (Ctrl + C for copy and Ctrl + V for paste). 2. Once you've done that, go track by track, right-click, choose "Properties," and clear everything. Remember to change track numbers if you have a specific order (and almost everyone does, so...yeah). Also, it's helpful to name your album, even if it's something as simple as "mixtape." If you want, you can fill in the blank spots with fake information to add a personal touch to the mix. Once you've done all that, click OK. You'll have to do this separately with each track. 3. Move that folder into your iTunes library by clicking and dragging it into iTunes when it's open, and go through the tracks one by one and double-check everything. Typically, the one thing that usually needs to be altered if anything is the album art. In that case, just select your entire mixtape (either by going under "Edit" and choosing "Select all" or just typing your mixtape name and using Ctrl + A), right-click on it, choose "Get Info," and clear all of it using the options in that menu. 4. Compress your mixtape into a .zip or .rar, upload, and give the link to the head of the exchange. Looking forward to your involvement soon ;) P.S: If I like your post mentioning you are participating the exchange, that means you will be on the list :) I'll be uploading my mixtape of mystery songs either tonight, at the weekend, or at some point next week, but it will be for everyone to listen to and review, unlike the others that you will make. __________________________ The participants: yoyo2000 I ran away M Marks The Spot LeftrightleftArchi

I've just seen it. It may just be a throwback. However, I've noticed that 'a musica pode despertar emocoes' translates to 'music excites emotions' on the first part. Possible slogan for next event? Coldplay to be announced? We'll see.

Oh definitely Post. The dude gets WAY too much hate. I'd love to see him, Thom Yorke and Kevin Parker on their stuff. Like can you imagine? A psychedelic 6min track with Chris singing over Jonny's lucid guitar licks...and Kevin's hypnotic vox refrain. And Posty coming in on another verse with his powerful baritone voice. And Thom on synth/piano duty...I can only dream. (You could also arguably put Trippie Redd here too, his voice could suit this, listen to 'High' w/ Alison Wonderland)

Agree with everything. They seem to be, well, stood 'in the background' while Chris spins around doing an airplane dance. Little to say, the guy's obsessed with that shit. Personally, while I'd like the band to go back to their roots (something I've wanted for a LONG time), I'd also love them to experiment a bit with genres. Hell, I don't even mind the occasional rap feature (preferably not Big Sean hehe). I remember when I was on this forum and literally DESPISED hip-hop. Now it's up there as one of my go-to genres! Just please guys, no more Stargate.

surely they're not...breaking up? :worried: (and personally, if you meant the other thing, i don't think that Jonny, Guy & Will are crazy about sounding like The Chainsmokers xD)

Well...I'm back. Anything new? Anything changed? Has Chris finally thrown in the towel his obsession with EDM?

God, X&Y's gap is really long. I honestly never noticed. As for LP8, this is somewhat accurate, but fucking hell. TWO YEARS?! Lol this is longer than the wait might be for Stranger Things (which also saddens me). Eh, whatever. I'm still gonna begin a countdown to it ahah.
