  1. And the drums kick in!
  2. Aaaaaand here we go!!!!!!! Square One!
  3. Yay! Everyone's arriving at the last minute! :D Got everything set up in the last minute as well.... :P Good I did that in time. Should have planned ahead. 20 seconds to g!
  4. It's been quite a while since I've listened to X&Y the full time through, at least a month for sure.
  5. Hey everyone, just had a little snack beforehand... almost a little too long as it's already 1:57 where I am! Oh no! Where'd @I ran away go? :(
  6. LOL, funny thing is that around the beginning of the last listening party I suddenly remembered to check that it was off, turns out it wasn't, good thing it was like 5 minutes before the beginning :) Thanks for reminding me to check, this time I wouldn't have dome it without you :) This time however, it was off :)
  7. Fortunately, I have remembered to come back :D That alarm worked... most likely would not have been here or maybe even missed the party altogether (at least a part of it, sure I wouldn't have missed out on the whole thing) if it weren't for my alarm. I thought "Wait, what's that noise?" and a few seconds later I remembered that it was my alarm to make me remember that we're listening to X&Y today :D
  8. Oh good were skipping the silence! Yeah I agree that's much easier for the CD people to skip to the next track rather than people like me having to pause and count, plus we don't have to wait, and no one likes waiting! :D Good decision everyone! Thanks to whoever thought of this in the last hours leading up to the listening party. If it weren't for your then we'd be listening to TKC at all different times :P Good that we got this sorted out ahead of time. If there any other instances like this like silence in tracks or slight differences we might need to address and make sure everyone knows about it so we don't all desynchronize? I'm pretty sure we're all good but let's make sure because we would not want that to happen :P
  9. Yeah and my Twisted Logic is 4:33 but I guess we can adjust to the CD version... Anyone know how long that is? Sorry I never had the CD version
  10. Neither do I...
  11. Hopefully I remember to come back because I'll be doing something else in these 4 hours and I might get drawn into it and forget all about this! I may as well set an alarm on my phone now 30 minutes before just in case! :D (don't worry, if I do remember I can definetely come back and listen with all of you, it's nothing too important)
  12. I do agree, 20 sounds like a bit much. 10 was a little too short and I think if we meet in the middle, 15 is perfect. :D
  13. That would be a wonderful idea, except what if the stream pauses for some people? I guess it'd skip ahead when it was done loading but if some people have poor internet for example, they wouldn't be able to listen to that. However, we always do have the choice to listen to our copys of X&Y I guess :D
  14. I agree on the b-sides thing, I now have all of them so we can listen to that in it's own seperate party whenever we want:D And X&Y is pretty long so I agree that we should put the 20-min break after the title track. I think that "Speed Of Sound" comes after which is definetely a great opening to the second part. :D For me, the first time I listened to X&Y I really enjoyed it except it really seemed to drag on... through time however I found it more enjoyable, and I find 13 tracks now a suitable length for an album for my taste anyways :D But we still definetely can have the break.
  15. That is so unfortunate :( I used to have a charger for my phone that only worked when you twisted it up in a weird way. I don't know why it makes it work by twisting it and I've noticed that when it's broken in a way that you have to twist it you have to keep still or else it won't work. It's so dumb. But hopefully good things will come your way and you'll be able to listen with us :D
  16. Mylo Xyloto - I forgot. :D
  17. Welcome to the Listening Party:D
  18. This is funny, because I literally said the exact same things you did, just in an entirely different way :p
  19. Oh no, bad timing :( But can it stay alive if you plug it in? Or does it literally not charge at all? Because I remember I had a notebook and it would die if it weren't to be plugged in all the time after several charges :( That's the thing that sucks with them.
  20. LOL even though IMO it'll be better than this its still true to an extent XD
  21. Post of the thread. I was looking for someone to say exactly this_ and you did it in a better way then I could've ever dreamed of. Well done.
  22. LOL I'm actually surprised you responded considering that was so long ago :)
