  1. And I love you, please come home
  2. Glad to hear :) When I was new to Coldplay, and I logged at the title of U.F.O I expected anything but the reality calm soft track it is. I had something more similar to Major Minus in mind so when I did listen to it for the first time I was really surprised. I thought about this when I was thinking about it when someone brought it up in the War of the Coldplay songs thread. Kind of like Fun from the new album you know. Actually some of us predicted it to be the opposite of what the title would at first suggest, dark and melancholic. As is U.F.O, Fun is one of the best from the album and is criminally underrated!!!

  6. Yeah, quite strange...
  7. Army Of One. An atlas can be a collection of maps to form a world. You can say you've "been around the world"... on it :D Funny thing is I was thinking of this song to be linked to before but for another reason...
  8. If you ever feel like something's missing

  11. In My Place - Coldplay If you could go anywhere right now, where would you?
  12. Don't you know that you are a shooting star ("Shooting Star" by Bad Company)
  13. Unlike most times, not a specific song surprisingly. It's rare this happens to me. I guess it is when a transition between two songs in my head happens, especially soon after listening to another song gets me messed up.. :D
  14. That one's also very good. Clocks Come out upon my seas Curse missed opportunities Am I a part of the cure Or am I part of the disease? vs Shiver So I look in your direction But you pay me no attention do you I know you don't listen to me 'Cause you say you see straight through me, don't you?
  15. This is amazing. Great work. Loved it :D As a side note, I could imagine listening to Square One if I was in the airplane in the scene at 3:00. That would be epic!!!!!! Anyone agree?
  16. AMDB9 and guy42, both of your quotes are in red. LeftrightleftArchi, your quote's in blue. iamsue, your quote's in gold. Sonny, your quote's in green.
  17. Thank you! :D That would be great for listening to "Oceans", especially at night for me. It would be epicer though if Coldplay were there performing it, at least for me :D :D :D And just me too of course. But I know that would never ever happen...
  18. Jonny boyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy :D :D :D :jonny::guitarist:
  19. LOL, that's fine, yeah that concert is epic!!! That's weird how that happened though... posting the wrong video
  20. Lol @arushofjacktothehead said that to :D
  21. A shame this isn't real Coldplay. I can kind of tell when a song is Coldplay to, just something about it that makes it different! It's a bummer that we probably won't get any b sides or unreleased songs from this era. Those days seem to have come and past, seeing from the general rarity of them nowadays as compared to before and the fact that the number of songs in each era has been going down since Mylo Xyloto. None so far... Really sad to since a lot of b sides tend to be gems for Coldplay and there are probably pure masterpieces made but not put on the album because they didn't sound "poppy enough" to Stargate or something. (Remember that? The band had to audition for them apparently and they probably said no to stuff like Major Minus yet somehow let that X marks the spot onto the album...) I don't know the artist. The intro with the guitar i could have imagined developing into some great alt rock track, then all of a sudden it suddenly ended and got replaced with this electro dance beat. Ugh that's disappointing though. If they'd starta song sounding epic and unique can't they keep that vibe the whole way through, not replace it with something run of the mill? That's what I find bad with songs nowadays. Some start really nicely but get nasty rather fast. Now even so it's pretty alright but could have been so much better if they let it take a proper path, not make it sound like one thing at the start then completely take that away and replace it with something that honestly sounds much worse. It would have been semi believable only because they happened. If it was a real alt rock song it wouldn't make sense since Coldplay has unfortunately left that behind and for a lot of it replaced it with a more pop feel which is a bit disappointing... It seems like all genres are seeming to fade nowadays, even the real rock stuff it starting to sound way to clean and overproduced... (Radiohead's genre in AMSP, whatever you generally describe it as since it sounds so fresh and new that I can't put a name on the genre, is an exception. That's probably the best produced record so far off the year au least from what I've heard... DIIV's record also sounds really nice. Other than that...I haven't heard anything that doesn't sound massively produced unfortunately. Sad. Wish it would go back to the way it was...)
  22. Up&Up had a good run, that lyric is so powerful... But nothing, or very little at least, can beat Clocks it seems lyrically. :D Clocks Come out upon my seas Curse missed opportunities Am I a part of the cure Or am I part of the disease? Vs A Head Full Of Dreams Oh, I think I landed In a world I hadn't seen When I'm feeling ordinary When I don't know what I mean
