Thanks! I wanted a thread like this, and was going to make one, but now it's already made, good to see :) Listening to Swallowed In The Sea right now. So memorable, one of the best singalong songs ever made IMO. Im pretty sure it's going to get stuck in my head for the next little while because of this. Gives you such a warm feeling even though the scene I visualize is rather on the cooler side of things... lol (not snowy cool, but more of a watery oceany kind of thing, on an overcast day :D)

whaaaat, ok maybe a little bit better than mylo which I still wouldn't agree with but I wouldn't say "easily...." @ChrisMartinFan, I don't see that. The other band members have been more present than ever on this album. Guy is everywhere. Jonny's guitar work has been at the most various it's ever been, and he really shines through in this album. Will has played both electronic and organic drums many times throughout the album and many times the beats he makes really takes the music to new levels. I know so far this has seemed to be a post loving AHFOD, and really I am pointing out the good points on this album. By no means is this album better then Coldplay's older work in general. That doesn't mean I can't like it, can I?

That this track is criminally underrated!!!!! The majority of people on here tend to dislike it and I can't really seem to know why. I mean, yes it's their opinion and they deserve one just like me but I still don't get it... everything about it is so beautiful. One of my favorite tracks from X&Y, the guitar sounds beautiful and all the other sounds in there, blend so perfectly together into a heartfelt masterpiece. Such a joy every time I listen to it. Feels like you're at the end of a very long journey, at least instrumentally wise. It gives off that kind of vibe. As for what I see, I picture an area somewhere out in the country, with a few shacks here and there in a small clearing in the forest, and the sky is showing some bits of almost a watery dreamy blue amongst a lot of clouds. After a big rainstorm (which would be the rest of X&Y, or at least most of it) passed through. Just seems that X&Y is perfect for listening to on rainy days. :D A Head Full Of Dreams

Ah, see? Everyone needs a dancey uplifing song in a while. :D As much as we want to deny that those tracks are good (talking about more hardcore Oldplayers), you gotta dance once in a while. Even The Adversary admitted to liking that Avicii remix of ASFOS. I was ultra shocked when I found out, never in a million years had I thought someone like he/she would like that song, and a dancier version at that. :D Not bad, but not too too good either. Still a lot better than most mainstream pop nowadays :P But it's annoying me, like Coldplay where are the B-sides? Used to have so much of them. Ever since Mylo there have been much less of them. And even then at least there were a couple non album songs. The only non album song from this era I'd consider to be Gone But Not F. Cotton because it gives me a colorful feel to it just like a lot of the tracks on AHFOD.

Just because I'm losing, doesn't mean I'm lost Yeah sorry, mine is really lame. Wanted to find one with "counting" but that was too difficult. Gave up on "Everything's" quickly. Pretty sure there's no other Coldplay songs with "demons" or at least decently findable so didn't bother with that.
