  1. I Ran Away I wanna come on out My eyes are closed I can feel it near The sides so close I wanna come on out And burn the sky Vs Cemeteries of London At night they would go walking 'till the breaking of the day The morning is for sleeping Through the dark streets, they go searching, to see God in their own way Save the nighttime for your weeping… Your weeping.

  3. Good, I was hoping I got it wrong since I didn't have a riddle ready in case I did get it right :D Thinking some more though...
  4. whaaaaaat, really, are we like linked or something cause I'm actually feeling lower today than usual... In any case, get well soon! :D
  5. Singles. Coldplay singles. Once they used to have B-sides. Not anymore. :(
  6. Chasing Pavements - Adele What do you hate most?
  7. yayyy this thread is finally getting attention :) Also @Jo1a, I guarantee you I like Rihanna more than any other person on the forums. She is really underrated. Even her older more poppy songs like SOS and Pon de Replay and Umbrella and that stuff for some reason I just really like it a lot.. especially when compared to pop music today. I know probably no one else likes those songs on here and I suppose I could see why but yeah. God gave you style and gave you grace...
  8. That sucks to hear. Wasn't it just your birthday? Sorry that things fell down so shortly after.. I send a big hug your way too! I know the feeling that telling other people makes everything better. When I had my sad time that's what I did make me feel more better/ And now I feel much better (however, tomorrow will mark the 2nd month since she's passed away... I can't believe it, seems like not long ago yet so far away... how the time flies. So I'll be a bit sadder and even in the days leading up I've been a bit sadder but yeah.) Hope things get better! You explained everything so much better than me lol. I adore that collaboration, such a nice song! :)
  9. Sounds very unique and awesome :D Listening as I type right now. Wonder why it isn't this kind of music that recieves attention and all the crap on the radio somehow does as well as it does... Plenty of surprises along the way with songs like these, not predictable in any way, and man it's one of those songs that seems impossible to tap to like Kid A, You try to hit it at the right times but it never happens right... Very enjoyable. :D Another comment, sounds like something from Kid A itself just with a much brighter tone... Ends a bit abruptly though. Only takeaway. Other than that very nice song :D
  10. LOL I thought that "Things I Don't Understand" originally referred to your own post and not something to do next. (Think it was both honestly but at the time it went over my head that that was the next song to be commented on...) You know Coldplay were good in the X&Y Era when one of their B-sides is considered strong enough to be a single :) Don't know why they left that off the album. I could easily see it replacing the title track on there... Wow, it seems that Newplay is growing on you recently... lol. I absolutely love Miracles, and yes it's a bit poppy but I mean just compare it to so many songs today, it sounds like something sent straight from heaven compared to mainstream radio stuff today... About Glass Of Water. this song is totally awesome, and unique! I'm pretty sure the majority of Oldplayers would like songs like these if Coldplay were to make energetic songs, because at least instrumentally it sounds very happy. I love the explosion and then it shifts to a different unconventional time signature as well... just this whole song is very nice to me. As for what I visualize, a sort of a cloudy sky yet with the sun starting to shine after it just rained, somewhere on this kind of gravel/dirt driveway thing, which is a similar sight to what I see with a few other Prospekt's March songs... In My Place
  11. Random guess: Wish I Was Here
  12. Ah of course this is the one lyric that Metrolyrics had to get wrong, this one I didn't use the Coldplay.com website for, was on mobile at the time and was much too lazy to go all the way to Coldplay.com and look at the lyrics there so I just looked at the Metrolyrics website. I didn't remember by ear, it's what Metrolyrics said. Looks like they're wrong! Fixing that right now. It's the time of your lives
  13. I live in Western Canada (Alberta to be more specific). My best hope is they show up in Vancouver. Around summer where I think we'll go again this year anyway. Wouldn't want to go all the way to Toronto but if that's the best we can do that's the best we can do :D
  14. That song is one of my favorites of Mylo. So energetic and outstanding and amazing. Their second best opener only behind Politik IMO!
  15. Very descriptive! It definitely feels like that too. Good job of explaining it. And don't worry, it's okay. I'd likely be tearing up if I wrote stuff like that too, in fact I'm coming close thinking about what you wrote. It's not an easy subject to think about. I don't blame you. :) At night they would go walking, 'til the breaking of the day
  16. Oh no, that's unfortunate to hear. Get well soon. :( Well it definitely triggered me. It says it's blocked. :bomb: Can you like upload it somewhere else or something so I can watch it? :D
  17. Clocks Come out upon my seas Curse missed opportunities Am I a part of the cure Or am I part of the disease? vs What If What if there was no light Nothing wrong, nothing right What if there was no time And no reason or rhyme
  18. And here I lie on my own in a separate sky One of the, if not the saddest Coldplay lyric ever written. Really the whole song is so melancholic and beautiful, I like to think of the "Poppyfields" section as the "everything is okay" part since I always tear up listening to this song, and something about the guitar there makes everything seem okay...

She definitely sounds like one of the more genuine mainstream artists out there, her on Fun was amazing and so underrated. Wish she sang more though. Disappointing she doesn't have a part on her own. That's the only takeaway from the song for me, other than it being a bit short in comparison to the awesome extended version that @SprayCanSoulGuy made and that the chord progression used is quite common... (Which isn't that bad, I mean the point is the song sounds nice and if it achieves that I couldn't care less how "mainstream" or "poppy" the track sounds. That being said it is easier to appreciate really artistic, creative and innovative tracks even if they don't necessarily hit home as good as a little more "normal" tracks. Which is why I consider Coldplay my overall favorite artist but I can admit from an artistic standpoint Radiohead is superior, they have much more critical acclaim as well...)
  20. Will be back later, this is difficult
  21. YES!!!! Better be I will be extremely happy if it is!! :D
