Just got the photos back from the Jonny's camera which I caught at IOW! I'll put them up tomorrow morning when I have more time. To be honest theyre not quite as good as I hoped because there are only 3 backstage (one of these is a random guy). but there are some priceless ones of the crowd (steph, carley, louise and me) all looking absolutely manic! anyway i'll put them up tomorrow on photobucket. hold your breaths!!!!!!

hey nettie, id get it checked out at the doctors in case it does get worse. theyll probably give u antibiotics etc which shd make it go away. better safe than sorry! mine's getting a bit better but it's taking ages.

hey carley! yeh i hope the photos come out well cos i think there shd be a good one of you me and louise hopefully. my foot looks utterly rank so im glad i didnt show anyone or you probably wdnt have wanted to stand next to me! also most of the front row where we were got in the evening standard (daily london newspaper for those that dont know) so i'll try and scan it in soon. i thought the performance was realy great altho chris didnt come down to the front and barely even looked at us. the set list was soooooooooo predictable maybe even worse than other times this year. i cant believe shiver was on the setlist and they played dont panic instead. the photographers were so annoying but not much can be done about them i suppose. anyway lovely meeting u again......chatting to people around you definately makes the wait (and lou reed's shockingly awful performance) slightly less painful. my lungs are still recovering from the run :)

hey, i was lucky enough to catch jonny's camera at iow! had an unbelievabley awesome time with lots of lovely people from this board and others i had met at other gigs. the guys were on top form and made the queuing from 7.30 in the morning worth it! unfortunately having got back and seen my doctor after my foot was in agony for most of the waiting around to see coldplay, it appears my foot got infected by some insect in my tent and so i cant go down to the developers and get jonny's disposible camera developed yet! but when i can walk i will!!!! i would get someone else to do it for me but i dont want to let the camera out of my sight! anyway hopefully i'll get the photos posted up here soon :)

i dont know about the first two questions but i know that it is definately not a fade out. it finishes properly and ends with a bit of atmospheric noise. my interpretation of why chris wrote it was out of a feeling of frustration and isolation. "oh brother i cant get through" "i feel like theyre talking in a language i don't speak" "feel like a puzzle i can't find the missing piece" etc etc. hope that helps!

you have to tune the high e down a step and a half. the best way to do it is to play the second fret on the b string, then tune the high e down until they sound the same. easy! are u gonna play we never change?!

i think i remember guy saying in an interview that there was more than one globe and that they were all in "a cage somewhere in camden". dont quote me on that but i think that's what he said! maybe a cage in storage or one of their houses?

yeh i know he usually uses gibson 335 in til kingdom come etc but he did use a les paul in the summer open air gigs.

no i mean the other parts of the song like the pre chorus and the high lead in the chorus. also that tuning would bugger up the d bar chord. not worth the hassle :)

not if u set your guitar up right. also if u changed the tuning then youd have to play all the other parts in a more difficult way.
