  1. PSV Eindhoven 0- 3 Liverpool  Milan 2- 2 Bayern Liverpool alomst certainly qualified for the semi-finals. Very good result for Bayern, they're favourites to go thru now. And that pen shouldnt have been given.

the merseyside is a county in the north west of england. and the merseyside derby is the match between liverpool and everton. i'm glad she didnt publish it but she started to laugh and asked me about it. :dozey: i must have been 12 or sth at the time. yeah... i guess i'd be more worried about the fact that he might have read it.

i know... i dont think anyone can but that what i'm currently thinking about.
  4. Petit Prince replied to Joyce's topic in The Lounge
i did! in 2001 and 2003. as i said i was going to leeds last year but my boss didnt let me go. and i missed the merseyside derby as well because of the same meeting which was on friday and saturday. i still hate her for that! aww i see. spring makes me kind of sad too right now even though it really shouldnt. oh dear lets hope that didnt happen. i was confused to letters and gave the wrong one to my sports teacher. that was so embarrassing. i was supposed to give her the one from my doctor which said i wasnt allowed any kind of sports for two weeks because of some accident and i gave her the one i wrote for a good friend.:embarassed:

yeah maybe i'd be the same, what do i know? as i said i'm still undecided, a part of me says i should do it and another part says that i really dont wanna do it. it was so obvious when i was still at school but experiences changed my mind. i know life wouldnt be easy if i did what i consider at the moment but i do think i'd have a better time. apparently i should also think about the future and thats what i'm worried about. many people wanna study law over here as well, thats one of the reason why its such a hard degree.

i've seen him in concert, i was going to leeds last year but my boss didnt let me go because of a meeting. aww do they? *hugs*

oh dear, i hate that, lots of employers do that. i still hope you'll get a reponse anytime soon. basically i was told the same, i'll never do it if i dont do it now and i'm already 21. i really dont know. i might not but if i dont its clearly my decision then, innit? i mean if i really felt like doing it i guess i would have the motivation to do it. but then again i might be wrong. you need to have priorities, its all about that and those things changed when i lived abroad. i realised that i enjoyed life so much more than back in the days when i was at school. work might be stressful and all that but you can relax in the evening, theres no exams to study for and no books which need to be read. its also a problem because i depend on my parents finanicially while i'm at uni which isnt a good thing either. i always wanted to study law but i wont. the course takes five years and it takes other two years to become a lawyer. it would be interesting for sure but i dont wanna study until i'm 28. i'm thinking about studying business studies but i'm still undecided.
  8. no. do you like reggae music?

its all good. i really like robbie williams [apart from rudebox] but i've never been into swing so i didnt buy it. but my ma bought bought it for christmas when it was released and its actually quite good. and the song with nicole kidman's lovely anyway. i'm ok... just replied to the other post.;) what about you?
  10. Petit Prince replied to Joyce's topic in The Lounge
i'm ok. i know its hard... well i've had a few jobs but no proper job apart from the one in england. i worked at a call centre, in a shop and at the post office but those werent job i actually enjoyred and i didnt work there for a long time either. good luck with the summer job, hope you'll get a positive response soon. i've wanted to take driving lessons for ages but i cant for financial reasons. they're very expensive over here. i'm looking for an apprenticeship at the moment. its quite hard to get one because its a special one you can only do if you have passed your a levels and its especially hard for me because i took the wrong subjects at school. i dont know if thats what i really wanna do but at least i could go to england if i had one because theres something i could do if i returned to switzerland. i just dont feel like going to uni right now. i know i should when i think about logical reasons but its like my heart is saying no. everyone tells me i should go to uni, that its a great chance and that i'll regret it. but i dont know. i'm still young and could go later if i really wanted to. i wish i could just go to england and get a job there and work for some time, i'd enjoy it a lot more than basically other three or five years of reading books and writing essays. and depending on finanicial support. but i'm undecided because apparently it is a good to go to uni and everyone tells me i'd regret it if i didnt do it.

there you go :D Something Stupid I know I stand in line Until you think you have the time To spend an evening with me And if we go someplace to dance I know that there's a chance You won't be leaving with me Then afterwards we drop into a quiet little place And have a drink or two And then I go and spoil it all By saying something stupid Like I love you I can see it in your eyes You still despise the same old lines You heard the night before And though it's just a line to you For me it's true And never seemed so right before I practice every day to find some clever lines to say To make the meaning come true But then I think I'll wait until the evening gets late And I'm alone with you The time is right Your perfume fills my head The stars get red And oh the night's so blue And then I go and spoil it all By saying something stupid Like I love you I love you...
  12. a friend from liverpool sent me that link to a homepage of a group campaigning against ID cards. some of the information's quite interesting. somehow i prefer the old site. http://www.liverpool-defy-id.org.uk/oldsite/ http://www.liverpool-defy-id.org.uk/ i really hope we won't get them IDs in our country but its probably only a matter of time.
  13. oh i see. maybe someone who's recorded there voice before can give you some advice because i've never done anything like that before.
  14. cant you just use rapidshare or sth to upload it? i dont have anything to record it, thats my problem. but my accent sounds horrible anyway.

hi ari! sounds good. i see your point about the language course if you prefer to stay in spain and get a job id definitely do it. i do think it could be a bit stressful if you went abroad in your summer break. work experience can definitely help you to get a job when youve finished your studies. however i also think the language couse might help you to get an employment. depends what the people who read your cv find more important. however if you dont feel like doing it then dont do it!
  16. no, i havent met anyone from this board, i'd like to though.
  17. that was ages ago. andorra 0- 3 england http://www.thefa.com/England/SeniorTeam/NewsAndFeatures/Postings/2007/02/AndorraEngland1.htm
  18. your stament reminded me of that song Two Nations Two nations divided By a common language And about two hundred years of new songs and dancing But the difference is language And just the bits you got wrong 'Cause we were the ones who invented the language Sorry, oi, that's just my idea of a joke But you guys are different to us across the pond folk And I keep having to say that I'm only joking In New York when I have to buy fags on the road, oi Biggy man, god bless America and that But you lot keep killing all your best talent We build up our stars and then papers sweep on them And you build on stars and maniacs shoot them I don't know much about nines and Mac's But we still got 22's we're inclined to pack And I much prefer the profit margin nowadays And crystal meth, it's all hype with crack It was no shock to me when we flew to the door At the Nas gig where the mans were shooting in a war Since it got reported in the latest news story That London is now more dangerous than New York Two nations divided By a common language And about two hundred years of new songs and dancing But the difference is language And just the bits you got wrong 'Cause we were the ones who invented the language, oi Understated is how we prefer to be That's why I've sold three millions and you've never heard of me The paparazzi shoot me the the girls all loose on me But don't shoot hiders, we fight football rivalry The work wac means to cum back home And I wrote the ten wac commandments on my own I was in front of the bloke shooting at the Nas show But they weren't shooting at him it was honor that night though We don't shoot idols happily shoot instead Up my road the police just thought are you dead 'Cause they guessed he might of been a bit of a terrorist Does this bomb look big in this bag then but we love Biggy, Johnny Cash and Stevie Wonder It's no Biggy we got no cash and its no wonder 'Cause I'm proud we gave you people like John Lennon Even though you shot him as well Two nations divided By a common language And about two hundred years of new songs and dancing But the difference is language And just the bits you got wrong 'Cause we were the ones who invented the language

they do online exams because they dont wanna interviw everyone. only the people who do well in them exams can come for an interview. oh i understand. at least its good that your dad would support you. well i'm bacl home now but lots of friends moved away, ive got many friends in england, my boyfriend lives there and i feel a bit lonely right now. i'm a person who likes to go out a lot and i just dont have the same opportunities here and i find life here a bit borning. thanks. have a nice week!
  20. Petit Prince replied to Joyce's topic in The Lounge
yeah i'd just try it, maybe your lucky and you can do it. if you cant at least you know youre going abroad anyway so you can live in another country, get to know lots of people and learn the language.
  21. Petit Prince replied to Joyce's topic in The Lounge
of course it can be a bit stressful but youll learn quickly i suppose. everybody told me how hard it was going to be when i decided to work in the uk. it really wasnt, you can always ask people if you dont understand anything. i think its a good decision and speaking another language can help you a lot, especially when youre studying torism.
  22. Petit Prince replied to Joyce's topic in The Lounge
nothing major changed... wrote a few applications and them things. at least i got to responses already, i gotta makre some online exam. other than that, i'm still a bit depressed, missing everyone a lot and i dont wanna live here any longer but theres not much i can do about it now. however im ok, so i shouldnt complain.
  23. Petit Prince replied to Joyce's topic in The Lounge
thats the same here. our post is generally shite, it always takes them ages. i'm still waiting for a christmas gift. i see you dont have much time for this, i still think its a great offer. 5 days really isnt much to think about it... but i'd do it if you have enough time.
  24. Petit Prince replied to Joyce's topic in The Lounge
i see your point. thats like theres similar words in spanish, english and french and i sometimes thought i knew this words when i looked the list thru, so i never learnt them properly. but i guess its different if you live in the country and talk to people...
