the Formula One thread 2007
watched the race live today. i'm quite happy with the result. i wouldnt have expected heidfeld to become fourth even though his qualifying result was brilliant. so yeah very good season start for bmw sauber, looks like the futures very bright for them. i'm a bit disappointed that kubica couldnt finish the race but its still a very good result for the team. nice to see hamilton on the podium, brilliant result in his first race. räikönnen winnig the race and alonso becoming second isnt really a suprise, i thought they were favourite this season. still räikönnen did really well and definitely deserved the win. looks like renault arent as good as they used to be. i know its too early to make any prediction but i suppose they seriously need to improve otherwise they wont have a chance to win the title.

Take a Chance
true.. i dont even think its a lack of confidence in that way. theres certain thing i can do, like i'm usually able to speak to people if i really want to. but i'm at a stage of my life now where i know that i really got a make huge changes because my current situations extremely depressing. but i spend way too much time thinking about possible consequences which makes it very hard for me to act. i feel like leaving home just now because we've got some huge conflicts, my boyfriend lives abroad and so do many of my friends and most of the ones in my country moved to different areas. however my father doesnt want to let me go and i know he certainly wont support me if i went to uni [even though theres a law which obligates parents to support you if they've got a certain income] and i expect him not to speak to me again for years. leaving is a huge risk apparently but i seriously feel like i have to change my situation. but theres something which holds me back and i hate myself for it because i know i'm responsible for my situation. i'm trying to figure out whether its about taking stupid chances but i dont think youll know until youve actually tried it.

how did your taste in music change?
i wasnt sure where to put this. maybe this should be in the world of music section but i put it in the lounge because it isnt about an artist or a band. sorry if i was wrong. so how did your taste in music change? do you think it just changed with your age or do you think its mostly friends who influenced it? my taste in music's changed a lot i supposed. i listened to girl- and boygroups when i was a kid like most did probably. then there was a time when all my friends got into rap and r'n'b, i bought a few records and also liked some of it but i still listened to some pop suff even though i wouldnt have admitted it. then i got into indie/ alternative. i still like it but my music tastes more diverse now. i dont care that much what other people think about the music i listen to anymore.

What is your sexuality?
i dont really know, could be. theres one thing i'm wondering about. why are there more gay people here where people are lets say more open-minded about sexual prefernces than elsewhere? is it because they are allowed to live their sexuality or is it because of the way they are brought up? oh and of course you fall in love with the person. but if you were right mo this would mean that everyones bi? i dont think so, i really dont think i could be attracted to a woman.
-
What is your sexuality?
i dont think i've ever had that phase. my neighbour's married and he's got two kids and he fell in love with a man when he was in his forties.:shocked2: i dont think he was bi or anything. everyone who knew him and his family was a bit shocked. must be really hard for the kids and his wife.

Don't like ID cards? Hand over your passport
not necerssarily. i've had an ID for years, in fact many swiss people dont have passports anymore. i didnt have one until i needed one to go to the czech republic. however it isnt quite what its going to be in the UK. they ask for the same details like when you wanna get a passport. i read somewhere that this is gonna change though. theres gonna be a new passport because the us require passports with more details, fingerprints and that stuff, is this true?

Take a Chance
i wish i was better at it. i tend to think about stuff start worrying and therefore i dont do things i really should. i'll regret it later because my situation wont change if i dont take risks. i really gotta change this.

Daryl

ARI....Bea!
i dont think its easy. espacially because hes never studied a language properly, he had to take french classes at school for two years but he couldnt be arsed to study. now he realises how difficult it is to actually learn a language. i still like the fact hes trying to learn german. i never told him to, he thought he wanted to learn it. true. maybe it will be a lot easier if you can talk about your studies first and then talk about personal things so you can get to know each other better.
-
ARI....Bea!
yeah it takes a long time to learn a language... he says german is hard to learn. dunno. sounds like hes interested in you. so lets hope hell actually speak to you. looks like hes quite shy.. i see, well maybe its good that you have your practices together so you can get to knoe each other better and you'll see hoe you get on. ;)
-
ARI....Bea!
i see i'd do the same probably, its important that you understand people where you live even if classes were in english. nah he still lives in england, hes just learning german. have you known him for a long time? i guess all you can do is wait and see what happens if you dont wanna speak to him anyway.

Daryl
people in liverpool are friendly indeed. i lived there and i thought it was a great place but thats what most mancs think. ;) its like everyone told me manchester was a horrible place, i first thought they were right because some of my friends got attacked when we were there. but i've been there a few times now and i think its a nice city, good for shopping and great nightlife. i still perfer liverpool though. i'm from switzerland and i curently live there, i miss liverpool a lot. my bf lives there and i found many friends there.
-
Daryl
liverpudlians/ people from liverpool we have weird accents in every area in switzerland. most germans dont even understand us.
