I went to school in Switzerland, everyone has to take that many A Levels there. It's probably also the reason why so few people Swiss people go to university. It's ok if you want to go to university there because you can go to any university as long as you get a pass overall. However, most British university will only consider you if you get a certain average.

Tell me about it! It sucks, especially if you want to go university in a different country where people get to pick their A Levels.

We had to do 9 subjects for A Level and we didn't get to pick them either. :sick: I don't mind maths but I hate geometry.

That's great! I did a placement in England after I finished my A Levels and I also ended up going to university there. Maybe you could could come to London/ the UK as an exchange student to see what it's like if you're thinking off moving there.

Yeah I'm gonna visit the university next week. I'm also still waiting for their fee assessment (couldn't go if they decided that I'm an overseas student). I got my results now and I can go wherever I want, which is great news :)

You should! London's nice. Might be moving there in a few months. Yeah I finished my Bachelors degree a couple of weeks ago and I'm not starting my MA till September so I decided to go away for a bit. What are you doing?

Seit gut vier Jahren. Habe in der Schweiz die Matura gemacht und danach ein Praktikum in England gemacht und das Jahr darauf hier mit dem Studium begonnen.

It was ok. I don't feel very well and I'm supposed to be going to London tomorrow so I haven't really done much. Went to see a friend which was nice but that's about it. What about you?

Ah ok. Hab das frueher oft geschaut und Freunde von uns haben da sogar mal teilgenommen, waer eigentlich schade, wenn sie aufhoeren wuerden. Ich bin Schweizerin und wohn schoen seit laenger Zeit in Grossbritannien aber bin halt auch mit deutschem Frensehen aufgewachsen. :)
