  1. Hallo miteinander! Hab hier schon laengers nicht mehr geschrieben, aber hab wieder mal reingeschaut :) Hab ich gar nicht mitbekommen. Gibts 'Wetten, dass...' nicht mehr, oder gibts einfach nen neuen Moderator?
  2. Father's day wasn't celebrated when I still lived at home and I don't really get on with my dad so I'm not gonna get him anything. I think going for a meal sounds like a nice idea. Or maybe you could get him tickets for a concert or a sports event.
  3. I don't understand nationalism. It also annoys me when people glorify their country's history and forget about the negative aspects. Then again, I never liked the country I was born in so I'm probably not the best person to ask.
  4. I don't wanna use fake tan or a foundation that's darker than my actual skin tone on my face and it would look weird if I just used it on my legs. I like being pale, I just don't like my legs. I can get away with wearing tights all the time because it doesn't normally get very hot in England.
  5. Not really. I wear tights all year round. My legs are that pale, they're almost see through, I hate them. It only gets hot for about two weeks a year so it's ok.
  6. They were very popular in Switzerland as well. I'm sure I've still got a few of their CDs at my parent's house. :embarrassed: First Single: DJ Bobo- Somebody Dance with Me First Album: Take That- Everything Changes
  7. Out of curiousity, what do you do? I'd love to work the fashion industry. The dress is very pretty, Julia. I don't really think it's that short, I wear dresses like that all the time. As colplay_is_louve said, a colourful floral scarf would look nice with it. And I'd wear ballet pumps or boots with it.
  8. How dare they go out and enjoy themselves? :dozey: Take That were amazing and most people seemed to have a great time. Yes, a small minority got mindlessly drunk. That's what happens at big events.
  9. @ Clocks In My Place It's from Oasis. http://www.oasis-stores.com/
  10. Personally I would take it slow if you're after a serious relationship. If he's only being nice because he wants to sleep with you, he'll probably lose interest pretty soon.
  11. I think the fact that its illegal actually makes it more attractive to young people.
  12. Not yet but I really wanna see it. They're showing it tomorrow evening, I think I'm gonna see it then.
  13. Has anyone seen the Senna documentary yet?
  14. Villeneuve was one of my favourite drivers. He did exceptionally well at the beginning of his career and you gotta admire his courage to join a new team. Shame it never worked out for him at BAR! Must have been so frustrating to barely finish any races and not to score a single point in his first season there. Also I don't care what everyone's saying, Villeneuve seemed like a really nice guy too. I met him at a practice in Magny Cours back in 1997 and he was very friendly although I couldn't say anything to him because I didn't speak any English or French at the time.
  15. It just stopped raining.
  16. I'm trying to find a black shift dress for graduation. I looked EVERYWHERE and I just don't seem to be able to find anything. I've tried on this dress when I was in town and I think it looks really good on me http://www.coast-stores.com/NIKITA-ROUCHED-DRESS/Dresses/coast/fcp-product/2224732380 It's too tight for a graduation dress though and I don't think it's formal enough either.
  17. Jacques Villeneuve is another driver that comes to mind, probably the most successful one in recent years. He won the Indy Car Championship and Indy 500 in 1995 (I think). Another one is Zanardi, who didn't do particularly well in F1 and returned to Indy Car where he had his tragic accident. The commentators kept saying that it was uncommon for an Indy Car driver to drive in F1 when Villeneuve joined F1 (as in most people do it the other way around).
  18. Completely unrelated but I thought I'd post it here anyway. Gotta feel sorry for the guy. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EMxnqenqKLA]YouTube - ‪2011 Indy 500 Last Lap - JR Hildebrand Crashes and Dan Wheldon WINS‬‏[/ame]
  19. He is. I wasn't questioning his talent or anything. Crashes are an inevitable part of F1, I just think that Hamilton needs to take responsibility for his mistakes.
  20. ^ The race comment was a joke. It was a stupid thing to say and he's apologised to the stewards. :) http://uk.eurosport.yahoo.com/29052011/66/hamilton-met-stewards-poor-joke.html Hamilton does seem to get targeted more often drivers so I can understand his frustration. However, I think the penalty for the Massa incident is justified. He's a great driver but I don't like how he always blames everyone else and there was no need to call other drivers 'stupid'. I agree. They want drivers to overtake but they penalise them for every little incident, it doesn't make sense.
  21. He's conscious and talking. Really hope he'll be ok.
  22. I'm gonna order this dress. Btw I really like the first shoes you posted.
  23. Haha same goes for easyJet. I worked for their customer service team last summer and the way we had to treat their customers was an absolute joke! You don't wanna see the cancellations list either. Don't ever wanna fly with them again.
