I'll have go to a wedding in August. I don't actually know the people so I guess it's gonna be quite awkward. The only thing I'm looking forward to is picking the dress.

I think I'd like to work with children/ young people. I used to work in a youth centre and I really enjoyed it. It seems to be quite hard to get into those kind of jobs when you're still in education so volunteering might be a good start. Thanks for the link Nina, I'll check it out.

Is anyone doing/ has anyone done any voluntary work? I'm on my break till mid-September and I kinda need to do something to keep me busy. It's not looking good with jobs at the moment so I started looking into voluntary work. It might be a good idea as I'd hopefully be able to something for the community and gain work experience at the same time. Any ideas?

That's sad news.:( We had to put our first dog down when I was 15. He was suffering from a heart disease and he he almost lost his eye sight before he died. I grew up with this dog and he meant the world to me. I accompanied my mum to the vets and I held my dog when he was put down. It took me a weeks to get over it. Coming home just wasn't the same without him being there. I guess it was the right decision though as he was suffering for a long time.

And some black shorts I got from River Island a few weeks ago (but their website won't let me post a link.) I nearly got a black dress in Topshop but it was £40 so I didn't get it. I later decided that i'm gonna buy it anyway but they don't have it in Liverpool. It isn't on the website either so I'll have to go back.

Our new flat. We decided that it would be better for the dog to live with my housemate because he's got more time for him. Still I'll miss him. I'll still take him for walks etc but it's just not the same.

I wouldn't mind one either. We'll all be moving out soon-ish and my housemate's gonna take the dog with him.:(
