  1. They've been together for two years but she's at uni quite far away. We probably shouldn't be more than friends.
  2. Not to well to be honest. Busy with exams and the situation with some guy from work is a bit complicated. It's just the UK I think. How are you doing?
  3. Mine hasn't, I might be in the wrong time zone though. I know, uni work's keeping me busy. Can't wait for this week to be over.
  4. I eat quite healthy but I probably drink too much and eat way too much sweets. I also get too many take-aways if I'm busy with uni work.
  5. Shouldn't it already have updated [because the clock on my computer has]
  6. I got to know someone in work that I like recently and he seems to like me back, only problem he is in a relationship.:\
  7. A friend just sent me this. I thought it was kinda funny.
  8. I totally agree! They shouldn't be on till December in my opinion.
  9. Not really. I found it hard to find a job over the summer but I doubt this had much to do with the financial crisis. There just aren't a lot of jobs where I live.
  10. Shame.:( Accents are a strange thing. One of my friends sounded kinda neutral when she went to uni here. She graduated this summer and went back to her hometown [Chelmsford] and she sounds proper posh now. That's probably what she used to sound like before she went to uni but it's kind of weird because she's only been home for about three months.
  11. Still haven't voted either.
  12. I really like Irish accents, can't really differentiate between places because I've never been to Ireland though. I prefer Northern (England) accents to Southern one. My favourite accents are probably Scouse and Geordie.
  13. Washington
  14. Who knows. You can usually tell though. If it was that easy I'd probably speak decent English by now. I think my accent must be really weird. My workmate recently asked me if I was from Yorkshire. (No offence to anyone from there but I don't sound Yorkshire at all.)
  15. my neighbours listen to loud music all night and lock their dog in the backyard (and he's constantly barking).
  16. That's weird. A friend of mine lived in London for more than 10 years and she didn't lose her accent at all.
  17. I doubt that's what they're aiming for.:P
  18. He came from Liverpool and he spoke like Chris Martin?:o
  19. I actually watched it and Villa too. As for Spurs I guess it can only be a good thing for them to be out of the UEFA Cup soon so they can concentrate on avoiding relegation.
  20. Not every English person speaks like him, you'd be SO disappointed if you came here.
  21. I don't really watch daytime TV. Documentary Channels and Sport News is usually the best thing to watch.
  22. I don't get the accent thing. You surely know that there isn't such a thing as a British or an American accent.
  23. # No, I find better programmes to distract myself.
