Is it 10 items or less or fewer?
I see. No idea what I'm doing wrong though.

The F1 Racing Thread: From GP to GP Weekly Discussion
Hamilton cut the chicane BUT he let Raikonnen pass before the starting line. There's no reason to punish Hamilton whatsoever. But I am not surprised that the FIA could find one.:dozey:

Fruit Salad or Black Jack
I don't like either.

I don't like them, they just don't seem to work. It always says there's an unexpected item in the bagging area even if there's none. It doesn't matter. I think fewer is correct but it sounds kinda weird.

Frosh Week '08
I guess I will go out a few times but it's not the main thing I'm looking forward to. I'm just sick of being in a dead end job and I cannot wait to go back for uni. As for drinking, as long as you're being sensible you won't do no harm to anybody.

Sleeping in odd places
One of my former housemates slept on the sofa all the time, like three times a week or something. And no, there was no drink involved most of the time. He was just weird... I can't think of very weird places I've slept at. I feel asleep outside with no tent once (wasn't a good idea), in a train station, in a club... can't think of much else really.

I don't think I posted in this thread before, so hello everyone. JD, are you the poster from Sunderland? Just wondering if I remember correctly. Starlight Can you watch the games live in America or is it just Match of the Day that you've watched?

Frosh Week '08
Two weeks to go. I'm kinda looking forward to it. I'm not to bothered about the actual freshers week. I'm getting into second year and as Dave said it's just about getting drunk, which you could do all year anyway. It will be good to see everyone again and go back to uni.

Pie Pie Pie
I'd get a Sunday roast if they do it. As for the question... definitely chicken.

i want a lover i don't have to love.
Exactly! It makes me dead nervous and I hate awkward moments of silence when neither of you knows what to say. Then again, I'm probably just not very good at making conversation with people I barely know.

i want a lover i don't have to love.
Good luck Dave :nice: Keep us updated! I haven't been on many dates either. And the three I've been to didn't lead to anything. I find it easier to become friends with someone first.

problem!
You might find it easier to find someone else, who drives you to the Coldplay gig. :idea2:

I think the problem is that you must like the person a lot [otherwise you wouldn't be friends with them] and you gotta be attracted to them. So even if neither of you wants a relationship at the time it's likely that one person starts feeling differently. You never know what the other person is thinking either. They might just agree to being 'friends with benefits' because that's all they ever could get. I made the mistake with a friend of mine and I didn't want more than friendship at the time. Still it bothered me a lot when that guy started going out with someone else. He couldn't completely forget about it either. He kept flirting with me even though he was in a relationship and there were a few occasions [especially when he was drunk] when he seemed to want more than friendship again.

Are You A Social Gay?.....Then Step This Way
I might be, I'm certainly not a very girly girl. I prefer watching a football game to soaps anytime and I find celeb mags and autobiographies [of some model or someone's girlfriend/ wife] incredibly boring. As for friends I usually get on better with guys than girls.

Been there before. I think its perfectly normal to feel that way. I wouldn't go for it though. One person usually ends up getting hurt.

Two Questions
It's hard enough to find a job when you are planning on staying. Personally I wouldn't tell them you're gonna go to uni and just quit the job.

Your Gay/Bi Coldplaying Brothers and Sisters.
I've never been to a gay parade but I imagine I might find it quite intimidating. We once ended up at the gay village on a night out in Manchester because we couldn't find a bar that was still opened anywhere else. People are lets say far more open about their sexuality. It seems that almost everything is acceptable in some gay bars. It did make us feel uncomfortable even though none of us is homophobic in any way. My friend also had a weird experience in the same area in Manchester. She was looking for a hotel and she found one, which was quite cheap. She left her bags at the reception and went to the toilet. The two guys, who worked at the reception were snogging when she came back. She also found leaflets about sex in the reception area.
