Fashion etc.
What a shame, can't afford that. :( They're so cute though. I really need boots. I looked in pretty much every show in town and I just can't find any. The thing is that I don't like those cowboy style ones that seem to be very popular at the moment. Also they need to be flat because I wanna be able to wear them every day and I walk quite a lot.

Post pics of the city you live in
You should come to Liverpool at some point. :nice: It normally looks like on the second pic though. We barely had a summer this year.

Are they sold in the UK? They're probably gonna be dead expensive, aren't they?:(

The Official Club Football 2014-2015 thread
Ashley puts Newcastle up for sale Newcastle owner Mike Ashley has said he is ready to sell the troubled club. Ashley, who has pumped about £250m into the club, says he fears for the safety of his family after a weekend of heated protests by unhappy Newcastle fans. "I am now a dad who can't take his kids to a football game because I am advised that we would be assaulted," he said. "I am no longer prepared to subsidise Newcastle," added the billionaire, who has been under fire since manager Kevin Keegan rocked the club by quitting. Keegan left his position after just eight months on 4 September, claiming he had no control of transfer dealings at St James' Park. His departure prompted a number of protests against Ashley and the Newcastle board of directors, culminating in demonstrations in and outside the ground before, during and after Saturday's 2-1 home defeat to Hull. ... http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/n/newcastle_united/7615618.stm

Classic Disney Movies
My favourite ones are the Lion King, 101 Dalmatians and the Jungle Book. I hate ending of the Jungle Book though, always have. The only animated Disney film that I liked was Finding Nemo.

Why do us Women hav e to torture ourselves for you Men?
Haha I didn't mean wearing jeans to go shopping. I meant wearing your best dress and make up! You know what I find the weirdest thing though. Girls, who go out in pyjamas but still spend ages to do their make up.

ARI....Bea!
I'm doing English. I'm not sure yet, I might do teacher training for modern foreign languages. I do enjoy my degree. It's just that I've got friends, whoare struggling to find jobs, which worries me a bit. I see. Sounds cool! I wanna go travelling too. I might take a year out after finishing my degree. I'm also thinking of going abroad next summer, probably to France or Spain. There is some programme at my uni, with which you can go abroad for a month and take a language course and some organisation pays for it. Sounds really cool but I think its quite hard to get in!

I wouldn't know if she's any worse than Victoria, Coleen or whatever they're called.

Why do us Women hav e to torture ourselves for you Men?
I know but the main thing is that they wear their best clothes everyday. I can't say much about Newcastle. Only been there twice, quite like the city though.

ARI....Bea!
Sounds awesome! I'm getting into second year... two years to go. Good look with your exams! I don't know if I'm looking forward to finishing uni. I'm a bit worried that I might end up in a job I don't like or that I might have to move because there isn't many jobs around here.

Why do us Women hav e to torture ourselves for you Men?
I thought Newcastle was more known for women wearing little when going out?

I'm fine thanks! Been working a lot and can't wait to be back in uni. It starts next week... How was the concert?

Why do us Women hav e to torture ourselves for you Men?
English girls care more about looks than other European people [generally speaking]. Like there's hardly any Swiss girls, who straighten their hair if it's naturally very straight. Many don't wear high heels on a night out either. Most importantly they don't go out in mini skirts with no coat whatsoever in winter. And Liverpool's probably one of the worst places in England when it comes to this.

Hi Ari! Haven't spoken to you in a while. How's life going?

Why do us Women hav e to torture ourselves for you Men?
Its probably more other women than men that make you feel like you have to make an effort to be fair. I've been out when I wasn't dressed up for town before and I still got men talking to me. It's more other girls, who make you feel inappropriate. That's the one thing I hate about this place. Girls wear their best clothes everyday. They even dress up to go shopping in town.

The F1 Racing Thread: From GP to GP Weekly Discussion
I don't think this is about McLaren, this is about Ferrari if you ask me. Remember when they banned Villeneuve for the Japan GP in 1997 when he didn't slow down because of yellow flags?

Is it 10 items or less or fewer?
Fair point. Still they seem to be running around constantly to sort out people's problems.
-
Is it 10 items or less or fewer?
I always do that. I use the standard checkouts when I buy vegetables/ fruits too. Still I can't deal with them. I guess the fact that most supermarkets have a person, who sorts out customer's problems with the self service checkouts kinda tells you that they aren't working too well.

The F1 Racing Thread: From GP to GP Weekly Discussion
That's the thing, there are no clear rules. Well there are be but the FIA seems to apply them however they want! Hamilton let Raikonnen pass, which he has to according to the rules. If you watch the replay you can see that Raikonnen struggled to keep his car on the track when it started raining, whereas Hamilton seemed to have less problem with the conditions. Hamilton did let him pass as I said before and I don't think there is any doubts about this. I honestly can't see where you are coming from. And you can't say he deserved it because of what happened in previous years. Surely you need to look at this incident and nothing else! Besides no driver goes to the FIA to complain about his team mate.
