The chord progression isn't very close. They do use arpeggiated guitars, but if you do a basic chord arpeggio with 8th notes, you will use the same 1 2 3 1 2 3 1 2 pattern that Clocks does regardless. The whole mix together however, does seem to have been influenced by Clocks quite a bit. The drums, especially.

I'm confused. Why do people still think Prospekt is the album's name? I think it's pretty clearly a pseudonym for the person that's writing these entries... because you sign the end of an entry with your name, not an album title.

"Prospekt's March"? New song title? Looks like "Lost!" and "Famous Old Painters" are confirmed as being on the album?

I was reading this thread and I decided to put on A Rush of Blood to the Head just because I haven't heard it all at once in a long time. I too have felt my Coldplay-love drifting to other artists (once again, Radiohead like a lot of people) but I'm still holding out for their next album. My expectations are ridiculously high though... after 3 years and all this so called new sounding material (especially the quotes about it being the album to remember them by), they better deliver.

Maybe if Coldplay's last album were stronger they'd still be my favorite band, but I've discovered a hell of a lot of music since then that just leaves them in the dust. A Rush of Blood to the Head, however, remains my absolute favorite album. I treat it and its music with a sort of reverence, being the first album I ever actually bought. :)

Buffalo's doing alright, I suppose. We just had a 5 game winning streak, but now we're down to 11th. I'm just glad everyone's stopped talking about Briere and Drury.

Space Dementia, MEGALOMANIA, Shrinking Universe, HATE THIS & I'LL LOVE YOU... those are probably my favorites of the less popular tracks.

I think the second half of The Joshua Tree is underrated because I can imagine people hearing the first 3 songs (all big hits) and then stopping. Aside from In God's Country which you already mentioned, I think One Tree Hill is the next most underrated from that album.

I thought the Russians were Revolution for 2 reasons. They've got that stance like they're fighting for something, ie, a revolution. They're on a merry-go-round, which is revolving. The girl getting the present is From Me To You. Birthday is the cake below them.
