Coldplay songs that I wish were scrapped from most worst to least worst: Parachutes album: We Never Change, Life is for Living, Parachutes (it sounds unfinished, why have it as this song as album title?) AROBTTH Album: Green Eyes (despite seeing live as C-Stage request) AROBTTH, Amsterdam, Daylight X&Y album: A Message and Swallowed in the Sea. I’m undecided about The Hardest Part, some days it’s okay sometimes its bleh. The LRLRL version of course as Zero_Theory has mentioned is the best. Viva la Vida or Death and All His Friends - Prospekts March edition album: Prospekts March (Poppyfields is okay though) and Now My Feet Won’t Touch The Ground. Mylo Xyloto album: Up with the Birds and Up in Flames are meh. Fantastic album though, probably my faveourite! Ghost Stories: Oceans is meh but still not bad, and the reprise is nice. A Head Full Of Dreams: Fun (hate the music but vocals are good) and undecided about XMTS.

Hi Everybody! I have been perusing setlist.fm and notice a remix interlude for Talk was played on the Viva la Vida Tour in some locations in 2008 (e.g Summer Sonic in Japan and Philadelphia). Does anybody have a live recording of this in either mp3 or video format? One of my all time favorite Coldplay songs is Talk and their remixes are probably the best that the band has released (especially thin white duke). Thanks! Jordan

I am going to be so annoyed if this is true - I don’t mind the odd f-bomb but if this movie goes as far as using the ‘c’ word along with many f-bombs this will really ruin the experience for me. I plan to take my parents along too (my dad in particular as he loves Coldplay as much as I do), and they hate bad language as well so this might not turn out as great as I expected...we will see. Nothing wrong with a moon though!

Yayayayayayay I love it when Coldplay have been releasing something every Friday! Fix You (Live in Buenos Aires) was the first release that I listened too today and overall it is not bad, I like how it starts off with the Beyonce line and strings. The all important midnight sample is in the background too and does not drown out vocals. Music itself is played great and crowd echoing the chorus is fantastic yet the one thing letting the track down is Chris using a tad too much espanõl (or Portuguese I’m not 100% sure) in the breaks between lyrics which although is a nice touch for the Argentinian crowd it ruins the flow of the song, and I don’t understand what he is actually saying but I can gather the vibe though. It should’ve been used a little bit less in my opinion. 7/10 Fix You (Live in São Paulo) on the other hand is perfection. The quality is crisp and the camerawork matches the flow of the song - only quick cuts are used when at the songs crescendo. I will be watching this countless times until it’s tatooed in my brain LOL. I’m not sure if snaps from other counties are used like Paris for example but I’m sure the rest of you will pick it up. 10/10

10 things about the Viva la Vida - Live in São Paulo video: 1. The crowd is ecstatic (I mean who wouldn’t be it’s a freaking Coldplay concert) 2. There are about 42 different camera angles (exaggerated). 3. Apparently not all of those 42 different camera angles are from São Paulo as per the different flower screens 4. OTT pink 5. Jonny can play the keyboard I thought he was expanding his instrumental vocabulary when he played snare drums on HFTW 6. Chris plays ‘Risk’ Live with Will 7. Is it just me or is this entire video in the identical resolution of Live 2003? 8. Will is psyched 9. Chris mimes banging the bell too much 10. If this is a glimpse of whats to come from Live in São Paulo, then expect an energetically dizzying party of Coldplay’s greatest hits with a focus on lights beating in time and Chris prancing round like a maniac on stage.

I think it’s a good move that Live in Beunos Airies has GPASUYF over Birds as it includes an ole ole ole ole build up which of course is from Life is Beautiful (and hence making this version of GPASUYF siiiick) so TECHNICALLY we are getting a sample from Life is Beautiful officially released... But Birds also is not bad played live as well especially when the drums kick in from the Oceans interlude which the whales only appear on screen when Birds is about to be played and we all know how Japan and whales are connected...

Will Life is Beautiful be on the Live in São Paulo film?

I notice that the Viva la Vida - Live in São Paulo has fleeting shots of the flower of life screens positioned vertically, which I believe is from Wembley 2016 live show. I like how the tetris pieces (I know it’s actuallu a code I forgot it’s name though) from X & Y artwork has been shoved into a basket next to the poppies from Prospekts March interlude track Poppyfeilds!
