  1. Do we know if we will have tomorrow (or next week?) a single realease in cd or vinile? Or is only a digital release?
  2. Well... there are a lot. One of the most beatiful I would say is Viva la Vida in the 2011 tour, with the piano intro. Politik its also fantastic.
  3. Well, I think it would be something similar to Viva la Vida. Viva la Vida is about French Revolution 1789-1815 (with napoleonic wars). So, 1919 is a god date (the end of the WWI and a lot of changes in Europe). The world in 1815 was very different from before french revolution, and the world in 1919 was very different from the prewar world. It makes sense. In the picture we can see old instruments like in Viva. And the cloths of the pictures in Malibu remember me to Viva la Vida and post Viva. We will see in the next days...
  4. I'm still quite disappointed with the setlist chosen for live albums. In the case of Buenos Aires and Sao Paulo, it can be understood that they are full concerts, so it is exactly what they played there. But in the case of Tokyo? Is it really necessary to repeat songs like Yellow, Fix You or Paradise? Having played in that same concert All I Can Think About Is You or Don't Panic? Not to mention that put to put songs that were not played there, could have gotten See You Soon, Trouble, Green Eyes, Til Kingdom Come or even the main stage Chritsmas Lights, Violet Hill or Politik. I do not know, on the one hand I'm very excited about having new albums, but on the other hand very frustrated to see that roughly give us 3 times the same, leaving out many very interesting songs ... not even Amazing Day ...
  5. Me too!! I would like to have the Tokyo Live album. I want to buy it, but before I would like to hear it if it is good.
  6. Well I'm sorry to contradict most, but after listening to the whole EP I do not like any song. Very pop songs (especially voodoo, I do not know where the similarity with MX is) that do not look at all like the coldplay sound. Not even the AHFOD sounds similar. In Spain we say "for tastes, colors" to express that everyone has their opinion (which is very legitimate). Sincerely I have not liked anything and I'm glad in that sense that this has not come out under the name of Coldplay. I understand that it is an EP to raise funds for a charitable cause and in that sense it seems a very good action, but the music that it contains ... uff. I hope the next thing that Los Unidos will do is to get unreleased songs from previous Coldplay albums like Kar Kids or Ladder to the Sun. Because if they are only going to do things like these, the wait for the LP8 will be very long ...
  7. ufff Very dificult! Swallowed in the Sea Violet Hill Lost! (and Lost?) Talk In My Place
  8. Well, Chris already said that they were not going to make more conventional albums. Maybe we do not see an LP8 as such.
  9. Oh my god! Is a very strange name, and sounds maybe not bad but very strange in spanish. But is very original jajaja
  10. Very interesting. I suposse we will know more after the release of the Live 2017. Thanks!
  11. I´m totally agrre with you, XY is a great album, and has a lot of very good songs (What if, Swallowead in the sea, White shadows, talk...).
  12. True! But the important thing is that there are rumours of Coldplay shows in closer places, what make sense for me.
  13. Could you translate this to english, please?
  14. Well, today a new story appears in a Galician newspaper that says Coldplay could perform this summer at a festival in Galicia (Spain). They already made a rumor a few months ago, but now they say that new sources have told them that there have been contacts, and that in addition Chris Martin was the other day at the wedding of the daughter of the owner of Inditex (a Spanish multinational company based precisely there in Galicia, she owns Zara, Pull and Bear and these clothing stores). It could make sense if we take into account that there were also rumors that they were going to another festival in Portugal, very close to there. Here is the new (in spanish): https://www.farodevigo.es/sociedad/2018/11/19/coldplay-camino-galicia/2001306.html
  15. I´m sure there will be an European Live. I think Milan DVD and Paris CD (to not repeat a Paris DVD with 2012 Live). And probably we will get a USA Live, because Coldplay have recorded concerts there also.
  16. Goodnight! I return to the post after having seen the chapters dedicated to the XY in the film and in the book. Am I the only one who has the feeling that in both of them he went too far over the problems that there were in those years? I don`t remember where, but recently I read in an article on the internet that Chris threatened to break the band after a concert, and that they had a lot of arguments, especially between Chris and Guy. None of that is reflected in the film or in the book. it is only said that Guy had at first a little jealousy for the media attention that Chris received. I don`t know, I'm the only one who thinks that for some reason (perhaps the band's own desire) has been "vetoed" (or self-censored in any case) that hardest part of the band's history to focus more on aspects and moments happier? It seems a little frustrating to me that from the time on which there is more shade they did not want to shed more light. I think it would help to understand the treatment (in my opinion) so unfair that they have given this album (the phrase from the movie where Chris says that the only good thing about the album was Fix You and Holmes ...) What do you think?
  17. I hope is only the list of bands/singers and Coldplay will play a very different music...
  18. Well, Chris Martin is singing in a lot of benefit concerts. So, I think is not impossible that he and the rest of the band will play some concerts this summer. No tours, just some concerts in festivals. A 20th anniversary "tour" would be great, playing the older songs like Spies, High Speed, Bigger Stronger... but maybe, the do a little tour this summer to present at hte end of 2019 a new disc, like they did in 2011 with MX. Not in vain, 4 years have passed since the last album was released ... Who knows...
  19. For me, the worst song (with lot of distance to the rest) is Something Just Like This. The lyrics are good, 100% coldplay, but the sound its horrible. I think an acoustic version with piano will be lovely. Or maybe a not electronic melody. Also I don´t like the hits from GS: Always in my head, AFOS and Magic. The hits from AHFOD are not good also, but I think they are quite better that the GS´s hits. Other song is Paradise. The song is not bad, and I think that works well as a standard song, but Coldplay are engaged to make Paradise a great hit like Viva la Vida or Fix You and I´m sorry but no, it's not such a good song. Every Teardrop or Charlie Brown are better. But they play Paradise always as a great hit... and in this tour with the remix... which is... ¿curious? There are "bad" songs in their first albums, but for me, I prefer A Whisper or High Speed (for example as weirds songs) before A Sky Full of Stars :D. Probably because I like the style of the black coldplay instead of the colorful jejeje
  20. I think it deppends on your... ¿likes? For me, the best performmances are the MX tour, when they do a more rock sound for the older songs (GPASUYF, Violet Hill, Cementeries of London, Lost!, Politik...). These live performances are very different form the studio version, and in my opinion better (there are songs that for years I have not heard the studio version). In the AHFOD Tour the sounds are more similar to the studio versions. The worst is Viva la Vida, it sounds to me like they want to play it very fast, without feeling, like if they were tired of playing it. Nothing to do with the beautiful piano intro of the MX. I hope they change the setlist, or better, they introduce, at least in the CD version, ALL the different songs that they had played in this country/continnet. The 20 songs fixed (the new album and their hits from other albums) + all the different songs they played in the C-Stage (Dont Panic, In my Place, GPASUYF, Green Eyes, Swallowed in the sea...etc.). I think that would be very interesting for the fans. But 5 versions of clocks, Viva la Vida, Magic... (that sounds the same...) and 0 of their older songs... I do not know why they always choose the songs on the live albums so badly  P.D: Ithink they would be at least an European live (CD Paris + DVD Milan or similar) and also a USA Live (maybe 14 songs like in tokio or something bigger?). An Australian live would be lovely also, but please, different track list... Tokio and Buenos Aires are the same...
  21. Hi everyone! I open this thread because I was interested in getting some Coldplay patches, like the ones that were on the MX tour, but to my surprise and despite the fact that I know that this group has not seen anything on the internet. Does anyone know where they could be ordered or bought? Thank you!
  22. And why have they released a live version of Viva la Vida when they will soon be releasing that same song on the live CD? If it had been a different version of another city or came with some extra song it would make sense, but who is going to pay for something that is free on youtube and that in two months will be on sale on a CD with more songs?
  23. Well, the truth is that it is quite exciting to know that they are going to release an album with live shows. To me personally what I do not like is the setlist they have chosen, they have left very good songs outside. In the end it is a record full of hits and to me personally that gives me some laziness. Why have not Lovers in Japan or Politik been involved? I hope they get more live albums or songs from other cities like France or Milan. Having a good live version of Miracles would be wonderful.
