Well, I have some bad news for you...

This forum is so ancient and that's why I love it. Seeing old, old fans here after all this time always baffles me. I hope this forum stands the test of time, even with its good and bad days, it's a gem of the internet as it was practically formed around the Parachutes Era. Now, I've been a massive fan since 2009 (I use to say they're my religion lol) and even though I'm a sucker for the Parachutes — Viva la Vida period, I still love them and listen to regularly everything they put out, from Major Minus to Something Just Like This, and Arabesque to X Marks the Spot cause even their pop stuff stand out from the other pop acts in the musical industry currently. Also, they're still a rock band, as it encompasses 80% of their discography. What they do is usually experimenting with pop and even on that you can still find rock elements here and there. What I basically want to say is: please don't give up on them lol

Sorry, I meant that both the artwork and that absurd fake title were A.I.-generated. The song itself is just an old demo of Lethal Drug (a.k.a. Love in a Lethal Dose), a song Coldplay did with Avicii prior the Ghost Stories Era, along with A Sky Full of Stars. It just upsets me 'cause so many people claim it to be real and that it will be on Vol. II so often that it gets on my nerves. I apologise, though. Just, please, spread the truth out there so people won't fall for it anymore.

I do understand your concern about the files, though whenever you feel like sharing them somehow, just please let me know. Vampire Symphony is badly mixed because that version was altered by the fake EP leaker. That one was made of two different takes and different mixes of the song. They just joined them both together.

This is a complete different scenario. Viva demos are shorter songs and only a few of them. Now we're talking about a huge amount of files, which most of them are just different takes and mixes of what we already got, but much better, on their evolved form. There are only three or four exclusive songs, so, if anyone's gonna leak anything, should just stick to the exclusives, not the others. This reminds me what happened to Radiohead with their MiniDiscs [Hacked] compilation album. After it leaked, they officially released it as a response. Still not a wise idea to leak the whole file, since it's too personal and is just a bunch of things we already got and better.

They're not "unreleased" per si, just different takes and mixes, claps, bass and drums takes, Chris mumbling random words over the official instrumental, and scrapped remixes of songs we already got on AHFoD. It's mostly Hymn for the Weekend, Miracles, Fun, Adventure of a Lifetime and The Race (under the title Kaleidoscope) that leaked this and last year. I think the amount of files is simply absurd... Is just too personal for the band and I hope no one ever leaks it, especially considering that we already got the best versions of all those songs.

By the way, in case you don't know yet, that EP is fake, both its title and cover art. The tracks are real, though Break of Dawn is actually called Vampire Symphony. That version was also manipulated/edited by the leaker, they created the EP, mashed up together two different takes of Vampire Symphony and renamed it as Break of Dawn. The song is mostly accurate to its original version, though, but still not the original due to the mixing and the leak having those hideous filtered vocals. Thought you should know so we can avoid any eventual misinformation regarding the fake EP.

It doesn't make any sense not releasing the Aurora song on Vol I. since the album cover and Overtura feature it. Plus, Phil was the one who pointed out the planet's existence for us, no one had asked him about it before, so they must release it asap. I don't care if it is an ambient music, instrumental, whatever it is... Just release it, please lol

If that's the case, why bothering to play the guitar live? I mean, Maroon 5 has a guitarist but he's just as absent live as in the studio. Jonny makes his guitar cry, have you seen the Seattle show today? He was on fire as I've never seen. The whole band loves Jonny hence their question "Does this have Jonny?" I think the problem is with their producers: they tend to trust too blindly what the producers say or think is best for them, and they either don't bother saying something against it or think it's actually the right thing to do. I just think they're accommodated and don't trust themselves that much, so this is probably not changing for a really long time.
