This song is quite touching, and definitely a favorite of mine off the album.

The soft tone of the first part of the song reminds me of Pink Floyd...especially when they bring in the synth's and 'stereo' Chris's voice. I think it sounds awesome.

I live in NC, and I think it'll work out good for me, cause I have to be at work at 8AM anyway, so before, I'll dl the new single, and hopefully it'll get me pumped up for the day.

For Internet Explorer users (I'm using IE7), when you go to coldplay.com, there is an Icon of a star, or could be a starfish, beside the web address at the top. Possibly could be a tribute, or reference to their old band name? IDK really, but it got me thinking.

Volcanic eruptions (major) put more chemically mixed gasses into the air then humans ever have combined. Quite frankly, i feel it is a blessing to have these modes of transportation that is so easily accessible...It is amazing really...Fantastic. I think it is great to take care of the environment. We should be responsible for this great planet which God has given us. But these modes of transportation are blessings from God as well. IMO.

I too can never claim that I've hated Coldplay, it is just I didn't hear much of them. The first CP song I heard was Yellow...and I liked it a lot. Then I heard 'The Scientist' in a clothing store and thought it was good. Then I downloaded Shiver and Amsterdam. Amsterdam immediately became my favorite song of all time (Still is) but I still didn't investigate coldplay a lot. Then my brother played 'See You Soon' in August of '04 and I think that was what 'Sparked' (pun intended) my interest in Coldplay. I bought the CD's in this order...Live 2003, ROBTTH, and Parachutes...kinda backward, but oh well. X&Y is fun to listen to as well. Coldplay will forever be my favorite band...I hope...lol

I think the great thing about a capo is that you can take songs that were previously too low/high for you to sing along with, and create a better range to sing the songs in. Now what i mean about songs that are too high, sing an octave lower, and use capo to raise it X # of steps...

I thought it was pretty darn funny. The part at the end when they get eaten is kinda funny...those who don't know coldplay will probably shrug this video off as trash...i thought it was creative...not the best, but knowing of Coldplay's personalities, the humor is perfect.

may be talking about the incredible build up at the very end of the song...goes up like the whole scale...incredibly brilliant.
