  1. Sorry. I sort of know the feeling- the ones we grown in the garden are all itty bitty and white. It's going to be a long while before they're big enough to eat. Don't know how the farmers get theirs to grow sooner.
  2. mmmmm..... I'm just eating it now. Or starting to- it's the berry that eats like a meal. Soooo good. Very sweet and flavorful. :nice:
  3. From Jon Hopkins myspace: "The new Coldplay album Viva La Vida or Death And All His Friends is out on 12th June. I worked on the album as one of the co-producers for much of last year, and contributed some sounds and various keyboard instruments. An adapted version of one of my new tracks Light Through The Veins also appears as the intro to the first track Life In Technicolour, and as the backing for the track hidden at the end, The Escapist." http://blog.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=blog.view&friendID=26521034&blogID=403195111 He has the original song up on his myspace now: http://www.myspace.com/jonhopkins
  4. And that's how we grow them in Nova Scotia. :D
  5. Not much up... although I already got bored and did my something crazy- dropped English for Electronics Engineering. That's going to be scary.
  6. Oh, hey, it's the other Mo. :nice: Long time no see. :D
  7. 30 isn't old.;) Yes there are older members around here. The place may be dominated by teens, but most boards and fansites are- mainly because it's a message board. The great thing about a place like this is you are how old you act.
  8. ^Well a big part of it is guessing who was pretending to be who, so it really does help to actually know who the current regulars are. And you aren't allowed to post with your regular account for the day, which can be tough when you want to have a regular conversation about a new bit of news or something. Really is better to have it (and all the mess that goes with it) when everything is calmed down. ...Like next fall or winter.
  9. Here's some bookends. From 1980: Blondie- Angel on the Balcony (Not a proper video, though.) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gsTyzhmqlbY And from 1989: Stone Roses - Fools Gold http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k4bHMVAKDao
  10. I think we all need to figure out who all the newer people are before it would ever work again. I'm pretty sure the last one was during Christmas break or early January... something like that.
  11. I'll understand how music sounded in 80's Slovenia...
  12. :laugh3: Creep is #51. Weird list. But cool for Coldplay.
  13. ^ :laugh3: I'm not arguing. ...But I am wrenching myself away from here and going to bed now.
  14. I get the impression the Kooks are pretty big there. Know the feeling. I've given up trying to figure out who people pay attention to around here, because no one ever seems to know the ones I like. (Because they're always British...)
  15. It's nearly 3am and I'm avoiding bed. Which is dumb...
  16. Exaclty. :D Doesn't seem to matter what decade it is, the Brits always seem to do it better.
  17. Now that's more like it. :) Heh... "over seas music" :laugh3: Like it's some exotic thing. In the same vein, New Order's "Crystal" is one of my favorite songs ever.
  18. I think so. Greek-American maybe? What?
  19. Not big on that song, bit slow for me. But sort of. More like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=og1HAkjOuL0 :D (Although  at the video... :freak: :laugh4:)
  20. The only pop/rock music allowed in the house when I was growing up was my mom's Nana Mouskouri tapes. Strictly classical and celtic otherwise, so it's all brand new to me. But metal gives me a headache. I love lots of different genres, they just exist elsewhere.
  21. Not good at all. :disappointed:
  22. Yeah, I think musically the 80's had a bit of a multiple personality going on... not that I remember them all that well or anything... But someone will be talking about 80's music I'll think The Cure, they're thinking Motley Crue, and we both get confused. :laugh3:
  23. Wow... lots of metal here. I'm strictly a New Wave fan, myself.
  24. I finally caught an episode of the Catherine Tate show a while ago. Well some of it- I turned it off after a while. This is nothing like it.
  25. :laugh3: It's so true. :laugh3::laugh3: But I wonder how it does count, though. Because I suppose technically I'm part of the X&Y generation. But I started coming here well before it came out (March, I think), so I might be able to squeak into the AROBTTH generation. But I came to get news about what turned out to be X&Y, so... I'm confused. But I got into the band at AROBTTH. :smug: (And would have much sooner if I had known they were the band that did that song I liked that turned out to be Trouble.)
