Space Cadet

All night.... I like to drop in periodically when I'm pulling an all-nighter to write a paper. The breaks keep my brain from frying completly.

I don't think he actually traveled through time. I think he had a concusion that led to one of those hyper-realistic island induced visions. He said himself that the woman at the jewelry shop was his subconcious.

I really enjoyed it. Liam's voice was off a bit, but otherwise no complaints. *shrug* Probably helps that they showed that backstage interview Strombo had with Noel right before they showed it though. Had me in stitches. About his plans for the night "...we'll see what the fallout is; see how many people we can offend in one night. Going for the record tonight: eleven." Meh, made me laugh.

Fair enough. I still think it was rude of them to put him on the spot like that. I mean, here's a guy who has written all these great songs about messing up and being a bit socially awkward, and people get upset when he messes up and is a bit socially awkward? It's not like they give you some magic pill that makes you perfect when you're suddenly a star. I still think it's amazing that he's grown up as much as he has. I wish I knew how to do that. :confused:

It's not even the record companies, it's the networks. Apparently the BBC had some major objections about anything from Top of the Pops being on. You have to look really hard to find anything from that show that isn't removed.

In his shoes, I have a feeling I would have done the same thing. I wasn't there of course, but something about the situation as it was described seems really awkward. Providing this happened, I totally sympathise with her as a fangirl, it must have felt rotten, but she was there at a proffessional capacity. You can be a fangirl and get excited and want to express how much of a fan you are, or you can be a proffessional doing your job who happens to be a fan as well. But you can't act proffessionally AND act like an obsessive fangirl at the same time. Being nice and appreciative to fans for afew minutes on the streets is one thing. Having one tag along for an ENITRE museum tour? Being afraid that she might forget herself and blather on the whole time? Think about it.

Well I care. :cry: is the reason I started watching the show in the first place. Overall a good episode, though. Back to the surreal island stuff I like. Am I the only one who's starting to get kind of bored of the others?

I like that it doesn't have an explination. Though up to any point where it starts ripping up trees or those winches in the ground come in, it sure seems like some sort of mass hallucination. It certainly builds itself up on things from the past, anyway. Oh, I just had a brainwave about the others And purgatory is the oldest and most clearly debunked theory out there. The creators have very clearly stated time and again that they think using pergatory would be a very cheesy/lazy way to explain everything so they aren't going to use it.

I dunno.... some weird variety of toxic mould, perhaps?
