  1. 6 inches! Seriously, freaking out over 6 inches. ... :laugh3: :laugh3: :laugh3: Excuse me while I laugh hysterically for a minute here... What on earth would happen if it was 3 feet, I wonder? :p
  2. :laugh3: :laugh3: :laugh3: That's exactly word for word what some of the writers like to use the spoiler tags for over at thefuselage.com
  3. I don't doubt they kicked butt... I mentioned it because they're among the best out there live. And I don't think it's age, either. Muse has a different kind of intensity that I quite like from what I've seen of it. Though I think I'd feel alot safer at the front at a U2 concert...
  4. I love that one :nice: ...in the category of songs I never thought I would see a crowd moshing along to... :laugh3: Seriously though, they've beaten U2 and the Stones for best live act awards over the last couple of years, right? Who would want to have to follow that?
  5. You type {spoiler} {/spoiler} around the text you want hidden except you use [ these brackets instead.
  6. ^um... you could use spoiler tags... But yeah- totally sounds like something the Hanso foundation might be associated with. btw- you reversed you name! :stunned:
  7. MCR??? Are they serious? Were they actually in their right minds when they agreed to it? I can see how the never breaking North America thing could get annoying, but is it really nessesary to side with the emos to get some exposure? I doublechecked the Muse website and couldn't find anything about it, but sure enough, there was a big hole in the tour schedule that lined up perfectly with those dates. Maybe they haven't said anything about it because they're embarrased. :idea2: I suppose it takes a very brave band to follow Muse onstage... with any luck, Muse will so completly put them in their place, that all the teenybopper fans will wake up and realise that there's actually something better out there....er...not likely.
  8. It was good. Suddenly realised how much I had missed it over the hiatus... Shouldn't say too much, though- doesn't air in the States for another 15 minutes or so.
  9. aw... I'd send you a copy if I knew how to get it off of the dvr... but I don't. :(
  10. I've been looking all over amazon too and can't find it.... This is the only site that I've found anything about it on: http://www.hmv.co.uk/hmvweb/displayProductDetails.do?ctx=280;-1;-1;-1&sku=617829
  11. I just found out that they show Top Gear reruns on BBC Canada. Nice to finally know what all the fuss is about. Is it just me, or does Richard Hammond look almost exactly like the latest Dr. Who?
  12. I so want to see that cop movie of his. Just the preview for it made me laugh so hard. As I understand it, they both are.
  13. Wondered how long it would take before that sort of thing started happening...
  14. Giving this thread a huge bump, in case it will help anyone trying to think of something for the mixtape. http://www.coldplaying.com/forum/showthread.php?t=37640
  15. I actually didn't start watching it until it was already up and running (all my geek friends couldn't believe I wasn't already) so yeah, I think it picks up an insane amount of momentum after the first episode or two, but I can't comment on the starting yet, unfortunatly.
  16. My suggestion for an easy universal theme would be something like "This is me" or "This is my life"... A collection of songs with a lot of personal meaning or a story behind them, or that you think represents who you are right now. It would make for a good warmup. Some other random ideas- music for a certain point in time- like waking up in the morning, or falling asleep to at night. How about a 'beat the winter blues' theme... best uplifting stuff? Or a 'this was my trip' theme... stuff that you listened to on a trip or that reminds you of a certain trip or tells the story of a trip? I could go on if you like....
  17. That's great  I guess some things never change, no matter what the income bracket.
  18. TWOP always writes fantastic snarky episode summaries... http://www.televisionwithoutpity.com/articles/category_1194.html never got around to using bit torrents, so I'm not much help on that front, I'm afraid...
  19. All I have to say is... CHRISTOPHER ECCLESTON!!! I loved him as Dr. Who :nice: Glad to see him again. Um... it already is the year's biggest series... :uhoh: but yeah, one of the best, too! ;)
  20. If you don't mind my asking, how did you get ahold of the albums on vinyl? Was it a local store? Or online somewhere? I'd really like to find a copy of arobtth...
  21. Glad there's finally been an official announcement. I love vinyl... it has a much richer sound- more character. And it doesn't take up all that much room sideways because its thin. A stack of records and a couple of bookends take up about the same amount of room on a shelf for the same number of albums as a fancy cd rack does... you just need more height. Yeah, not so great for a car , but awesome for a fixed stereo system. I really wish I had money to collect more- found my dad's old (nice high-end) turntable in a closet about a year ago, but still only have his classical music to play. Which isn't bad, but itsn't mine, either. I hope this doesn't cost too much, I really want it. Blue Room! on Vinyl! :D Nice to have the original artwork, too. Here's hoping.
  22. We've still got some old punch cards kicking around the house... ...from when Dad was in college. And yeah, I still have some of my favorite games on the big floppy disks, but I can't get them off anymore... the old computer with the right drive on it died last year.

You mean you're not planning to defend your tetris title? And yeah, high tuition is bad.

Me too. But then they'd need one for the SUB, and the management building and the arts building and the law building...
